Tea actually tastes good w/o sugar

I grew up on sweet tea. I tried the Atkins for a period of time, one good habit I picked up was drinking unsweet tea. I haven't looked back since.

ya. taste the earth. I drink green tea black. And coffee black. Black coffee tastes like bitter sweet dark chocolate to me. 🙂

I don't recall why but I stopped adding sugar to my tea when I was ~12. I cannot stand sweetened tea now.

If you must add sweatener to tea / coffee, you're drinking bad tea / coffee.

IMO, depends on the kind of tea. For a more delicate variety of tea like say a white Darjeeling, adding milk, cream orsugar prevents you from tasting all the flavours. But for certain varietals like Nilgiri, I feel thet milk/sugar actually accentuate the tea. Of course, you can only do this with a hearty variety of tea, which some people by definition call "bad tea".

I'm from North Carolina, so all I can say is sweetened iced tea FTW. I drink hot tea without sugar, but if it has ice in it then it must have sugar.
