I feel like everybody here should be sitting in lawn chairs yelling at the hoodlums to get off their lawns.

I don't get the whole "people are going to feel/look stupid when they are 70+" thing. When you're that old, you'll be too busy trying to remember who people are, telling the same story for the 30th time or trying not to crap your pants.

Ugh...

My neice just posted a picture of her belly on FB... she is 20 and pregnant and posts every inane thought that comes into her head on FB along with pics.
Isn't that what people on Facebook do?

In fact, isn't it what Facebook is all about? Allowing people with no life to pretend they have one, ironically proving they have none in the process?

My favorite tatoo that I've seen was a woman with a koi pond running from the top of her bum up to her shoulder on the side.

Of course, I've seen that a few times now, so it's no longer original and the next time I see it I'll probably just roll my eyes.

And that's the problem with tatoos. If you have an original idea, and everyone copies you, you're stuck looking like you're part of the crowd, where with fashion or almost anything else, you can move on to the next thing.

Yes, I'm judging her. I know her, and while I think she has potential, she mostly just does stupid shit to fuck up her life.

Edit-now with pic

\rant\blog\whatever

her stupidity is probably genetic, and unrealted to the tatoo

wait did you say you guys are related?

and yeah pretty ugly tat's

i don't think that tattoo is real. it looks like someone just used a box of crayolas and colored that on. there are also no sores/cuts around the border of the tattoo that you usually see. but it does look like she has teh herp.

is your neice that stupid that she doesn't know her stomach is stretched right now and when back to normal size, it will make that look all distorted? if real of course, and if she just doesn't become a fatass anyways.

I don't get this fad lately, especially girls with full sleeves and so on...

If you aren't in the navy, prison, or a gang, you probably shouldn't have a tattoo, certainly not sleeves. Maybe one or two concealable ones.

fad? lately? were the fuck have you been? Tats have been around for decades in its current form.

It looks like henna or similar, but maybe that's wishful thinking. It's hard to believe someone is stupid enough to get a tattoo on stretched skin.

Tattoos are stupid, to me, and I'd never get one.

The thing is, I cannot imagine anything I think tattoo-worthy today worth looking at when I'm 70. Nursing homes are going to be some pretty weird looking places in the future.

i have never and will never understand this train of thought.

oh and posting in yet another tatt bash thread.

Yeah, this is what it feels like to me. I know a ton of people with tattoos and have 8 myself with the next two I want already decided on. In my opinion there's only 2 things people should stay away from with tattoos. Tramp stamps and tribals. I honestly don't understand why someone would get a tribal. What's the point of getting a tattoo that has absolutely no meaning?

Not personally a fan of sleeves either because the images blur together and they look like a blob of color with nothing really discernible.

I feel like there has to be risk to the fetus to tattoo a pregnant stomach. Perhaps it's a tattoo she got prior to the pregnancy that is just stretched now.

Not a fan generally, especially on women. My brother in law has a full back tattoo of a comic book character. I guess he can put a shirt over it but no matter how much I like a movie or something I can't imagine wanted to be reminded of it for the rest of my life every time I took a shower. Worse, I'm old enough now to remember much of the stuff I liked 10 years ago I no longer even like that much. I imagine myself as a teenager and imagine some of the stupid song lyrics I might have thought were a good idea for a tattoo and cringe. I cringe and I didn't even get the tattoo. He's one of those ADHD life people though so thinking ahead has never been his strong suit.

Tattoos aren't bad entirely I guess, but people treat them as a fashion accessory for the most part. Fashion is constantly changing though and that tattoo will not. That's why I have several sets of these: http://www.bewild.com/auslontasl.html

She had the tats prior to getting knocked up. Yet another of her brilliant life decisions...

My tribal actually has more meaning than a bunch of my others. I know the design sucks and I knew it when i got it. And I have a tramp stamp in the works. :)

Lol, news flash.... Artists do not wanna be your friends. I happen to have several friends in Chicago who do ink which makes it enjoyable when I'm in town but in general you're not just gonna walk into a shop and find buddies.

I don't think he means making best friends with them and going for beers, just going to some consultations and finding someone you feel comfortable with.

I have an appointment at the end of September with a guy I've never met before. I like the work he has done, but if I dislike him when we sit down and talk design and whatnot, I will move on to someone else.

not everyone is so unlucky.

The big ones often express social class anyway, so it's bad for job prospects.
Visible tattoo means giving up on jobs in the military, police, healthcare and several private jobs where you will never know if they didn't hire you because the boss doesn't like tattoos or for some other reason.
I might as well throw a hoe on my feet.

Those who don't use facebook are often so edgy and vocal about it, I wonder why.
Facebook is 90% about chatting with people you know, 10% about events and group communication with people you know. You can't do that on anonymous forums and it's unpractical via e-mail.

trash tags for trashy people. can also be a source of HIV / Hep transmission. Used ink is russian roulette and you don't know if your tat man is recycling.

I have several tattoos now- I don't particularly give two shits what people think of them...Probably still won't care when I'm 70...
