The "pointing and laughing" was in jest, and reserved for those who answered the poll with regrets. I should have clarified.

Have fun 🙂 It's a personal preference. I just find them repulsive. I'm sure there are things that are repulsive to you as well.

I don't regret any of them:
"Only God can judge me" across my chest
the Tasmanian Devil chasing a Tweety Bird on my thigh.
"Strong men also cry" across my abdomen.
Marijuana leaf on my wrist
Tribal band on my arm
Chinese characters of the words: "Crisis Opportunity Love Hate" on my neck.
A Phoenix rising from the ashes on my lower back.
Nope, no regrets.

While I enjoy my tattoos, when I got them they weren't so fucking common place as they are nowadays. I don't regret what I got and WHEN I got them, but it does suck that they are a dime a dozen know (ironically though they are WAY more expensive).

Edit: 35 now. got my 1st when I was 18. Last at 25.
I never understood this mindset people have with anything in life that all the sudden they don't enjoy or like something anymore just because it's popular.
I know a guy that everything is like that. Everything he does he want's to come across as "unique" so he has his Mac's, he listens to non main stream music, he reads obscure books, he loves movies no ones heard of and ever damn time one of those things he loves becomes main stream he can all the sudden no longer enjoy it.
I just don't get it. 😕

It's funny how everyone complains about "ricing up cars" with stickers and shit, but "ricing" up your body is cool 😉

I just find tats to be pointless, like jewelry. I can't see paying money for something which serves no useful purpose, to me at least.
There's a guy at my gym with some tats on both arms, and I always have to chuckle to myself when I see them. Thing is, he's black, and fairly dark, so you can barely see 'em. I have no idea what they are. I don't get the point of that at all.

Other than being a tattoo, it's not much different than wearing a Budweiser t-shirt.

Have you considered the possibility that he got them for himself, not for you to look at?
I ask you this, can you understand the purpose behind someone wearing a cross on a chain, even if you think it's pointless?

If people get tattoo's in visible places they obviously want them to be seen.

Other than the fact that MJ is illegal, a drug and has a negative social stigmatism associated with it.

Your point being? They both label you as a drug user to perfect strangers.
