Who here has a tattoo and regrets it? How old are you now? How old were you when you got it?

I was in the chair to get a tat when I was about 18. I didn't. If I had it now, I'd regret it.
 
While I enjoy my tattoos, when I got them they weren't so fucking common place as they are nowadays. I don't regret what I got and WHEN I got them, but it does suck that they are a dime a dozen know (ironically though they are WAY more expensive).

Edit: 35 now. got my 1st when I was 18. Last at 25.
 
26, got one when I was 24. No regrets, though I do wish I'd anticipated my desire to get more and picked something that would have blended in better with some sort of shoulder/half sleeve kind of thing.
 
I have a bunch, (left sleeve is almost done), but I do have one on my right arm that I think is kind of dumb now. I got it when I was 18, and now I'm 24. I'll definitely cover it up some day.
 
I was in the Navy 9 years. Never got a tattoo. Only considered it for about 1 day.
Do not regret it, and looking around at other 30 year olds with tats I am glad I didnt.
 
I'd only even consider getting one if I went on some big adventure with friends and we all wanted to get the same one to remember it, and even then, probably not. Friend of mine did that for a 40-day canoe expedition in Nunavut - she and her five trip-mates all got small polar bears at the small of their backs. That seemed like a nice little commemorative thing. I doubt I'll ever get one, though.
 
I have 7 tattoos got them between the age of 29 and 32 now Im 42 and have a big itch to get a few more!

I really like the fact that you're 42 and your user name is 'boner' spelled backwards.
 
No tattoos.. I've always been interested but can't really think of anything I'd want. A world map on my chest was my most intriguing idea, but I think it'd end up look like a scar or something because its just a bunch of random wiggly lines.
 
I got a couple... don't regret getting them as so much as wishing I had taken longer to pick out something more unique.

Got them done about 8 years ago, I am 27
 
I've always kind of wanted one, but I wouldn't want something big and flashy. Something Canadian probably in a spot where my skin won't get wrinkly.
 
I'm probably the only one of my good friends without a tat.

I just never did find anything I thought would still appeal to me 50 years down the road.
 
thought about getting one, but i just can't seem to bring myself to decide on anything. A friend of mine told me "don't think too much about it, you just need to go get something.." which is exactly what i don't want to do. perm marking for a temp feeling :/
 
At 18 I had no illusions that what I was doing was reversible. I made the decision then with that in mind and still feel that way. I could get laser surgery, but what a fvckin' copout.

I am what I am, warts and all.
