FWIW, LC has refilled my WU cache.

Yeah, the spell checker seems not to see what I write in the subject lines but it sees what ever I write here.

FYI: I am a diagnosed dyslectic, which means that I had some really hard time learning to read and that I still have some really hard time to spell - especially in any language which is not my native language - such as English, German, French, Russian, Swedish. (My native language is Slovak and even there I spell less than well...)

I just checked: all my Intel and my AMD Thunderbird have WUs, none of my AMD A64 has any WUs ...
My pending credits have dropped from approx 1090 to 930 ...
66 of those WUs (more than 900 pending credits) are from my dual MP computer and 2 remaining are from one of my XP-computer ...

This will take some time ... since I guess there are not so many AMD MP-processors around crunching Leiden Classical ...

So you speak 6 languages? Insanity

More info: Both my Opteron x2's and all my Intel boxes have (and have recently fetched) WU's. My mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+ is getting the no work message, and I suspect my AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1700+ at work is as well. It was when I left 6 hrs. ago, and its cache looks smaller.

Weird.

You know that we only tease you because we love you. :D

edit: For testing, I just attached a "spare" AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3700+ I had laying around. It immediately got the No Work message.

I have all 3 FX-60s up and running RCN. Every now and then they ask LC for more work and don't get it. All boxes are running WinXP64, which may be an even bigger no-no!

PS:

They call a person who knows more than two languages "multi-lingual."
They call a person who knows only two languages "bi-lingual."
They call a person who knows only one language "American."

Can't get any work on any of my machines. Only got 5 WUs left on my X2. Switched all I got to malariacontrol.net. That way I'll never meet my challenge goal :(

I got work too.
At first I thought my goal (5750 credits) would be too low, now, after the lack of WUs I realized that it was a pretty good idea to set an easy challenge for the first try and it's easier to manage (less computers to attach/detatch in time). :)

I guess I'll have to resign from the challenge or lower my goal to 30,000. We're hitting 33 °C here and there's no way to keep my PCs running. I'm almost fried already! :(

@BMC: same temperatures here in Luxembourg, I put a huge fan in front of the most sensible computer to fix the issue

Oh, a big fan (such as 45 cm in diameter) is not too bad ... it moves the air so well that it can blow enough air for me and the comps.

Good luck guys, I might have to take a few weeks/months off. Boinc over here is pure frustration, and I wont have any real crunching power till I'm back home. I'll keep neffing on the forums though :D
