Hi, Guys--

I suggest we have a little one-on-one quad challenge for the remainder of the month. We find a project where we haven't been active for a few months, attach one quad per user at midnight Tuesday 20 Oct UTC and crunch for 10 days.

I would like to suggest Ibercivis. Any others we should consider?

I am currently running Ibercivis, but I will detach and reattach at midnight, if this is the project.

What do you think?

That sounds very fun. I am in. Ibercivis is OK with me. :)
We may want to extend the deadline so that more crunchers could attach ...
And change the subtitle to TAS-note ... ;)

How about 10 days for the crunch ending at Halloween midnight UTC?

PS: my quad will kick all other quads' little silicon butts!

Sounds very good. As long as I know which quads are in I'll keep track and post stats.

OK, Tuesday 20 Oct at midnight UTC is the start; 30 Oct midnight is the finish.

Quad: 118821 is my entry.

I think it would be OK to use more than one host on the project, but only the identified quad is in the race.

Peter, what do you think? Would having more hosts on the project get in the way of the stats-keeping?

I don't have a "quad" anything, so I'll sit this one out. :)

I think I might stick with SETI until the end of the month and see if I can break the 1 mil mark for another bump to my Free-DC rankings...

Peter, can I switch to ID: 119225 ??

I can't compete with you "i" guys, so I switched to linux to see how my Q6600 compares with the AMD quads RT and Neurodog are running. They're running linux too.

Maybe we can have another challenge too? linux vs Windows?

We'll have 3 of each now! I guess it depends on who else joins the race.
