Yes, I know about the CASP8 challenge and I really like it - be it Rosetta or POEM. I just wanted to make sure that it all goes the "correct" way. So, if we all vote for Rosetta or POEM this month, then it'll be the CASP 8 challenge of course. I added that option to the poll. :)

Thank-you. I voted.

So far it's over 80% for the CASP8 challenge ... but of course there are still a couple of hours left to vote, so, you never know!

When I last checked, SETI.Germany had reclaimed 9th place.

It's a nice tight race!

Based on 17.5 credits/cpu-hour, if we can get 240 cores doing POEM@Home 100% of the time, we can exceed 105K per day.
We have 134 hosts on the site, some not active, some not full time. If they were all dual core and active, we would be there now!

I'm contributing 10 cores 100% to POEM.
We only need 230 more! Add what you can!

I've got a dual boot system (linux 64 bit and windows XP 32 bit) and I see virtually the same credits awarded on both systems (Q6600 @ 3.24 GHZ).:)

I'm pleased to see that! Back to my super stable linux OS tonight!;)

cheers everyone!

The Rosetta Caspers are out producing the Poem Caspers by about 16K per day!

On Poem@Home, ESL is outproducing us by 30-fold. It is a good thing they are not evil otherwise they would rule the world!

Crunch on, Caspers!

Well, I learned my #1 rule for doing stats. Don't forget where you are getting your stats from. I've been fighting for the past 2.5 days trying to get stats imported correctly--only to just find out that I've been trying to copy and paste the tables from the wrong website. No wonder it wasn't working.

What was that about you liked watching n00bs work, Rudy Toody?

ROFL. I can't help but wonder what kind of outfit that would require. Aristotle in a cheerleading outfit. hehe.

That made my night much better! Oh, and the stats are updated.

So ... I may be the only TAS member crunching Rosetta. As I mentioned before, I am away from my computers; I am in Tennessee visiting family for most of this month. I installed new anti-virus and firewall on the FX-60 machine a week ago, the day before I left. There have been some problems. I was able to persuade my wife (on one occasion) and my daughter (on another occasion) to go over to my apartment this past weekend. I believe most of the problems have been taken care of. I looked at my stats on the Rosetta@home website, and both machines appear to be working fine. Yea!!

Rudy Toody has told me that he would be happy to take the bus from Seattle to my apartment in University Place (on the west edge of Tacoma - 2.5 hours each way) and attend to any sort of major problem. I'll be having a key made today, and I'll send it to him. I am very grateful for the help. It feels good to know that I have a team-mate that I can count on like this. :)

Crunch on TASers!!!
