Hehe, yes, I noticed your approach in my rearview mirror. Right now I only have Malaria on a XP3200+ and a XP2000+ but once I reached some other milestoens I'll switch the rest. Just too bad that I'll be out of town for about a week and will have to shut down my fleet from next Tuesday onwards. So, you'll pass me no matter what.

:)

Hmmm, everyone is accelerating and I am away from home - can not move comps from rosetta to Malaria. Oh, well, I will not be in the top 10 tid time ... :( ;)

You know what irks me? :(
That there is no Mac-client for MalariaControl. Macs should be just great - dual core processors (G5 and Intel), good optimized clients (often Altivec optimized - increases crunching power by a factor 2 - 5), good throughput ... :D

Ohh and of course - TTT! ;)

Hmm. You guys are going to make me move some production from Rosetta to Malaria so that I don't get passed by half of TaS before the end of the month. ;)

Some quick stats:

TA has climbed one step in the "total credits" :

Rank _____ Members ________ RAC ________________ total credits __________________ Team___________
_8 _______ 27 (+_1) _______ 3 724.24 (+1 014) ____ 276 114.88 (+18 606) ___________ Team Anandtech (+1)
_9 _______ 13 (+_0) _______ 1 435.01 (+_ 325) ____ 266 753.72 (+_6 634) ___________ Free-DC (-1)
10 _______ 42 (+16) _______ 7 208.21 (+2 096) ____ 185 197.21 (+37 344) ___________ AMD Users (0)

... and the "RAC" ranks:

Rank __ Members _____ RAC _____________ Team___________
_6 _______ 9 ______ 4 103.76 (+266) _____ SETI@Netherlands (0)
_7 ______ 27 ______ 3 645.01 (+976) _____ Team Anandtech (+1)
_8 ______ 59 ______ 3 112.82 (+438) _____ Czech National Team (-1)

We have to watch the AMD User's team though. They outproduce us heavily (as yet) and are a real threat.
So lets assimilate, crunch, add ... computers, WUs, members! :D

Yeah, they are. But I think it is a race within their team ... and it takes long to increase the RAC - about 10 - 12 days ...

Crunch on, we got to maintain our position!  :D

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Malaria servers don't seem to be giving out work all that often? I've checked my preferences and they all appear to be set correctly, but I can't seem to get any work downloaded very often.

I just connected manually and was able to get 6 WUs but those will be done in about 1 hr 20mins each(on the a dual core P4 w/HT) so they'll get done pretty quickly.

I am splitting time with the E@H project 50/50 but that project is downloading and getting work without issue.

It seems to me like Malaria Control (MC) doesn't like sharing BOINC with other projects. I don't know if it was BOINC or MC but I would occasionally see "computer overcommited" messages on boxes that had another project on it. Even if that project weasn't active. Once I ran detached from all other projects and ran MC standalone everything was fine. I do wish they'd extend the deadlines a bit though. It's pretty much is impossible to share a slower machine with another project without expiring MC wu's...

Hmm.. well in that case, I guess what I'll do is set the E@H project to "No New Work" so that the machine can finish up its existing work and then set the PC up to just do MC for the remainder of July to help TAS/TA out as much as possible. :)
