After seeing a commercial on tv for the tapout workout, I was intrigued. I liked the idea of the martial arts aspect. Does anyone have any experience with this program. Is it worth ordering?

Basically looking for a fun challenging workout to get more physically fit. Was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with it and how it compares to others.

I'm sure it will meet that goal then. Just make sure you have a great diet and go for it. I've personally never heard of it.l

It is the same as any other calisthenic based program, ie tae bo, p90x, insanity, etc. If because its movements mimic martial arts that draws your interest then more power to you. With all these programs you get out what you put in to it.

I got it yesterday, and while I haven't actually done the workout, I did sit down and skim thru watching the 1st dvd. I finished the GSP Rushfit program a few months ago and instead of doing it a 2nd time I decided to switch it up. It will definitely be an intense workout, it doesn't have a lot of breaks and the ones it does are only like 15 seconds. At the end before the cool down it had a segment called the grinder. Which is 10 regulars push ups followed with 10 tuck ins, than 9 triceps push ups and 9 tuck ins. With it alternating between the 2 sets from 8 all the way down to 1. Looks like it's going to destroy me. The workout had a lot of plank moves, but they had a lot of variation to them. And the intensity was definitely high. I like how it uses resistance bands instead of dumbbells, I have my own handles which have slots for 3 bands, so if I re do the program down the road and need to up the weight I can just toss another band or 2 on.

I can't comment on any of the other workouts, but I'll more than likely start a thread when I do the 1st one tomorrow. I'm a bit skeptical of the "burn up to 1,200 calories" with the warm up and cool down the workouts are right around 50 minutes. That seems too high, but I'll put on my HRM and see what it says. Glancing over the workouts there's a lot of MMA type moves so my lack of basically any coordination should make this interesting lol.

I'll keep an eye out for your thread then. I'm definitely interested to see what your impressions are after you've tried it. :)
