How much space to install Mandrake 9? I'd like to dual boot, but i'm running short of space on my C drive.

That's all?

I guess i'm accustomed to standard MS bloatware... :D

I actually don't even run that system anymore. I just kept the screenie. I've got mdk 9.0 rc3 right now, but there are issues with E and the pager, and with gtk+. I'm hoping they'll be fixed once I finally upgrade to 9.0 final.

It should. It's an actual blueheart desktop. If you look closely, you can make out the urls to the blueheart site, e.themes.org, and I think the last one is an IRC channel name in the lower left hand corner.

THat's not enough....

I installed MDK9 on a 2gb partition and I don't ahve much space left on it (like 200megs), so a 3-4gb partition would be perfect.

As on the original topic....I am using Gnome right now (Screenie). For some reason KDE just feels...weird.....i dunno...

I gotta try out that Liquid theme though...maybe it'll look better after.

I put mdk 9.0 rc3 on a 5 gig partition. It took up about 2.5 gigs (expert mode install with most of the packages selected, but not very many of the webserver ones <no dns etc>)
