Taco Bell's beefy cheesy melt....or whatever

so i just saw the commercial for that new cheesy beef melt thing and i have to say that the fake strings of slimy cheese coming out of everyones mouths looks disgusting.

anybody else feel this way?

One time, about 2-3 days after having some major dental work done, I decided to eat at Taco Bell (because it was the softest thing available). I bought 3 extra cheesy quesadillas and ate them all in one sitting. Wow that did not turn out well.
 
seems gross...all that stringy artificial cheese. F that. Any item that I want that has nacho cheese I order without it.
 
Hmm, I only watch network TV and very small amounts of that. I believe Taco Bell advertises on cable. That being said, I have not subjected my digestive system to Taco Bell in at least a year.

They complain about everything else to protect thier kids............ MAN PUPPET FREAKY!

If I was the one running advertising, I'd send that big puppet to the Guillotine! PRONTO!!!

 
Pretty much all of those commercials are gross, but not nearly as gross as when you actually order what they're advertising. At least they're not as hair-pulling stupid as the McDonalds commercials. But still offensively stupid.
 
Well, pretty much ALL taco smell commercials are enough to shut down your frontal lobe.....

but I swear, if anyone ever came up to me and described their food as 'melty', I'd likely poke them in the eye!! 😉
 
it makes me wish the closest one wasent a 20 min drive away 🙁

i havent eaten the new thing yet because i always get a Crunch Wrap, man those things are awsome

Absolutely. But I have to hand it to Taco Bell, they constantly try new menu items. New in the sense that they're just renamed, remarketed combos of the same ingredients they've stocked for years. I have to figure, they're going to spend on advertising, so constantly tweaking the menu gives them a shot to find something that might unexpectedly get popular.

I'd eat a chalupa right about now, but most of their stuff is gross. Hell, the chalupa's gross, but I could go for one 🙂

Absolutely. But I have to hand it to Taco Bell, they constantly try new menu items. New in the sense that they're just renamed, remarketed combos of the same ingredients they've stocked for years. I have to figure, they're going to spend on advertising, so constantly tweaking the menu gives them a shot to find something that might unexpectedly get popular.

I'd eat a chalupa right about now, but most of their stuff is gross. Hell, the chalupa's gross, but I could go for one 🙂

I worked there when I was 16. We would take a scoop of everything plop it in a bowl and yum it up. Also the beef is green and shiny until contact with air.

I worked there and that's a load of bullshit. The meat came in sealed plastic bags and it was brown. It was put in hot water for x number of minutes then into the metal pan where it was then used to make tacos and such with.
