Now I see why you have that hot rod computer in your sig. 😛

do you have any idea how old I am?

15-16? What does age have to do with the computer in your sig? 😛

Man, are you jealous that I have Artic Silver 5? It's left overs I got from my next door neighbor, found it in his recycling bin, it was half way empty. But hey, another man's junk is another man's treasure, right?

That has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever read here.
Desert cart, it that you?

why do u work at taco bell in the first place?

Because he is young and trying to make a buck. Do you have some problem with that?

His petty whining is also a great annoyance to me, because we all have our issues at work. Fire400, take it from me, no job is perfect, You'll have to learn to deal with miserable bosses and shltty work procedures. That's life. If you don't face that now, you're going to be complaining for the rest of your life. Good for you for working, but deal with it. We all do.

Taco bell was our lunch choice today and i must say, the carmel apple empanadas are AMAZING!!!

Last night I went to talk bell, ordered a Steak Quesadilla, and a Chicken Quesadilla, 2 sides of sour cream. Total was 5.90.
Waited like seriously 15 minutes in line of 3 cars to get to the window. Get there, he says my total is 4.37 or something like that, he starts handing me a cup of water.. im like wtf.., this isnt my order. He says oh, ok... hands me change from the 4.37 i gave him, goes back in the window for like 5 minutes...
THen he comes back with my order, and asks me what I want to drink since I had to wait so long, got a diet pepsi. It tasted like Cough Syrup for some reason.... yuck

Worst night at taco bell ever...
Your order costs $5.90.

Clerks says it's $4.37.

You tell him, no wait, you're like, "this isn't my order."

He agrees.

Then he somehow hands you change from the $4.37 you gave him, even though your order costs $5.90 and he agrees AND you handed him $4.37????

Five full minutes go by?

You get a cup of diet pepsi that mysteriously mutates into cough syrup?

What happened, next . . . you woke up screaming "Where's my napkins" and scared the crap out of your girlfriend?

I spent a little over 3 years working for a Taco Bell, most of it as one of those shift managers. As far as your drive thru system, that sounds screwed up. At all of the ones around here, the person running the drive thru window has a headset that allows him to decide when he takes the customers order, and not have someone else decide.
And to anyone who thinks that the fire sauce is hot, or that Taco Bell is Mexican food, well lets just say you are missing out on way too much.
Just keep in mind, if you don't do as your shift manager asks you too, he can fire you for insubordination, and trust me, he probably doesn't care about you, as there are very few decent workers worth trying to keep around, most just wine and complain about the job and never really do much more then just the bare minimum.
As far as closing goes, you should be able to have the place shutdown and cleaned up in under any hour, and that is with just the shift manager and one other employee, heck I have even closed and cleaned up the store by myself before and that took about 2 hours.
