Since I've been to Mexico, I'm going to have to agree with the locals...they call it "Taco Hell".

On one of the tours I was on, we stopped at a farm off the side of the highway and had some authentic Mexican burritos - hand made corn tortillas with pure cactus guacamole and tomatoes. I am not joking - not a bit of meat in there and it was the tastiest food that has ever passed by my lips.

Actually, the hell with fast food in general...always gives me the "ring of fire" anyways.:|

Ha ha, that's a different ring of fire that you're referring to. This one is quite a bit more uncomfortable...on your a-hole.

Good taste, cheap, and filling. What doesn't kill ya... only makes you go to the bathroom. FTW.

Oddly enough, even with a number of genuine Mexican restaurants owned and run by Mexicans in my area, I still see Mexicans in Taco Bell when I'm there.

God, I could go for a Cheesy right now.

In other news, Del Taco >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Taco Bell

I hope you don't live in California - because if you do, you have no taste :(

Actually, I do live in California. In fact, there are 4 Del Tacos in my area, and probably more than that.

Here is what I will give them: their beans are excellent. Taco Bell beans suck. I would know. I worked there. Here is how you make them:

Bean mix (looks like gray sawdust)
Hot water
Stir

Bleccccch. Del Taco's beans, however, are very nice. Not smushy, actual bean taste, and ALWAYS hot. Plus, they put a good amount of cheese, whereas Taco Bell is cheaper than it's menu with the cheese.

One thing I hate about Del Taco is that they took away those small, $.50 burritos. Those were awesome. :(

Well, my friend, we'll just never agree on this one :) While I don't find Taco Bell to be awful (in most cases it's a decent substitute to DT) I just don't think it can even come close to the awesomeness that is Del Taco.

Although, I am a little bitter that they didn't cast me in that new "Feed the Beast" commercial that's running. I got a callback for "The Beast" and even auditioned with the guy who is in the commercial now.

I can't stay bitter at a place with that delicious, though.

Taco Bell used to be good, but then they got rid of the tostada and changed their ground beef. Now it's horrible.
