Taco Bell Math Fail

So I went to Taco Bell last night to get some dinner for my family and I wanted to order 5 soft tacos and 5 hard tacos. Both are $0.99 each.

When I said I didn't want the "Grande Meal", the dumbass behind the counter and the assistant manager working couldn't understand why. They said "but you'll save money". It took me over two minutes to explain to them that $9.90 is less than $10.70 (the price of the Grande Meal). In the end, they capitulated because there was a line behind me, but they still couldn't understand why I didn't want the Grande Meal.

Sometimes I wonder about people.

I don't eat at Taco Bell, so i don't know what the Grande Meal is. I assume it is 5 soft and 5 hard as well? Does it also come with drink and some sides or something that would make it cost more?
 
Nope. It's 10 soft or hard tacos in any combination.

Taco Bell's not so bad. You can hardly taste the rat.
 
Last time I had taco bell, I puked about an hour later...had ot pull over on the highway, spewed that shit everywhere.

Never going back.

I eat there maybe 1-3 times a year now, but I ate there often in college. Never once got sick or had the runs from it.

And I realize why I haven't been there in forever.. damn 800 calorie burritos..

The Grande Meal is $8.99 here, and you get 12 items. Are you sure it wasn't on sale and you didn't notice?
