do you currently subscribe to t-zones? if so, that might be why...if you cancel t-zones, it will show up since it's available to everyone

Are family plans included in this offer? I don't see this service listed on my old phone. I haven't checked my new phone yet since I haven't signed up for the online stuff.

edit: Yeah, I don't see it on either of my phones. Can anyone post a screenshot of what I should be looking at?

Its 115 KB/s, If you use it as a modem....It takes half as much time to load a full normal website then it does some text on the cell phone.

alright... this is kinda strange. i haven't done much hardcore research on it, but to my general knowledge... t-zones is like internet access and stuff right? i also understand that t-zones will let me email pictures to ppl from my camera phone... is that correct? now with that in mind... sometimes i can get online and surf the webt with my phone. it's a little slow... but hey, it's free :p but what i can't do is send pics to other ppl. has anyone been able to send pics with their phone?

according to chubbywallet, you can call in and have it added on, I just called and a nice lady added it on for me and said it was free. Apparently it takes from 2 - 24 hours to work...

I just called. (I am on the family plan). Just ask the rep to add the Free T-Zones. They are activated within 2 hours she told me.

I'm also interested in this capability if it's true. Sprint does free unlimited Internet access through its PCS Vision service, but the manufacturers of their phones appear to not have heard of Bluetooth (would be nice for net access on my Palm as well as my notebook). AT&T, Cingular, and T-Mobile all offer phones with Bluetooth...while I currently have TDMA service through AT&T, until now the rates all of them charge for data have been fairly steep. If T-Mobile is now offering unlimited data (whether at no charge or at some minimal added cost, like $5 extra per month), that'd be a strong incentive to switch.

Can the V.60 be used as a modem on the T-mobile network? I'd like to get in on the Unlimited Internet (for $20?) deal.

I'm curious if it's possible to use my phone to dial up to my local ISP from my computer with a bluetooth adapter. What I'm really curious about is if T-Mobile will charge me something extra for what I'm doing even though as far as they should be concerned, I'm just using standard voice minutes. Has anybody done anything similar to this? Would I have to have the unlimited GPRS?

My local T-Mobile store said that there is no free GPRS T-Zones upgrade.
He said the only thing about T-Zones that's changing is that you can sign on in your phone, and choose to buy T-Zones from your phone instead of from the website.

I don't know how much I believe him though, since these guys can't explain to me why the $80.23 I paid and appears on my bank statement two weeks ago isn't reflected in my invoice online or thru the computer...

If you're already paying for T-zones does that mean they're going to be lowering your bill?

they're telling me it's only for 30 days :(

and it's 4.99 to add it to my account

If you guys can get it to work.

Can you tell em the Operators ID number ? Station number and Extension number so we can connect to the ones that know about this directly ?

T-Mobile is in the process of upgrading everyone's accounts so if you can be patient you will eventually get it.

Um...because they told me.? When I noticed the change on my account I rang up straight away, and they informed me they were updating everyone's accounts, but that it was going to take some time.
