I have a KT7 and t-bird 800 and have penciled in all the L1 bridges. On my first try, any time I set the multiplier manually, the system booted as a 700. Now, after redoing the pencil, I set multiplier manually, and the system boots at nothing but the default speed. Do I need to reset anything after the bios change, or just save to CMOS and boot from there? I am getting a bit frustrated, 'cause I just want to see what I can get out of this thing. I bought all the right stuff, Alpha HSF, good RAM, etc.
I am happy with the speed at default, but looking for more. Any help would be appreciated.
