How do you tell the difference between perfect synthetic diamonds and flawless mined diamonds? Couldn't you buy the synthetic ones and resell them to a seller for big bucks?

my gf actually prefers man-made diamonds to real ones since they look better. Check out this website, I got her a one carat ring for around 250$ for christmas and it looks awesome.

They are awesome as far as I can tell (I am no diamond connesieur). However, my gf loves it and everyone tells me they look great, plus it comes with insurance in case the diamond falls out of the setting.

God, that's TACKY!
Yeah, I intentionally induce faults into my growths for exactly this reason. I also skip the whole serial number thing.Originally posted by: DrPizza
The synthetic diamonds don't *have* to be perfect; they can introduce imperfections.
Other than the serial number, you can't tell the difference.
