not a great pic, but it started to move before i could take a better one. i had to smash it(and all those little babies) with my bare foot. normally i dont kill spiders, but with all those babies, it was time to deal some death.

the first time i encountered a spider like this, i just thought it was some big hairy one. my wife went to kill it with her shoe, but just barely missed it. all the babies came scurrying off, and i thought i heard a noise, something like a hissing sound, as the babies ran off of mommas back. was probably just my imagination though. it was quite creepy.

it's funny i dont mind snakes, i owned a red tail boa and a bunch of reptiles, and such but i am pretty darned scared of a little spider like that.
 
I hate those fvckers.... they used to get on my bed when I lived at home. Ended up hosing them down with raid and sleeping on the couch.

We have a large infestation of black widows, their spikey egg sacks are all over my car and house .

yeah they rule my shed. i just make sure i turn everything over and check it well before i pick anything up. i just thump em away if i see em. have yet to find one near my house, but im sure theyre around here somewhere.

the two white lines are an 1.25" apart. it was a little bigger than a quarter.
 
Goooooo...

What's worse than a big nasty spider.... a big nasty spider with dozens of little nasty spiders on its ass.
