How about actually building a concept, you know, exactly as it was conceptualized?

It's a concept. Say goodbye to all the nice detailing and the cool head lights....

So here is the estimated finalized production model:

This is what the Honda CRZ should have looked like (or been), including the 1.4L turbocharged engine.

They had people vote on this vs the Code C130R. I can't find the results, but I'm guessing a lot of idiots voted for this one instead of the RWD Code.

i like the exterior of this over the Code130R - but i'd definitely want it RWD instead of FWD.

the 130R looked like a shrunken camaro - not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but i think this looks much sleeker

Seriously.

I can't understand how anybody still gets excited for ultra-early concept models, especially on anything but a dedicated sports car.
The chances of it looking anything close to that are between 0% and 1%.

The funny thing about this (and its companion that was next to it...the red one) was that Chevy would actually build one if not both depending on how much reaction it received at the various shows. I saw these in Chicago. Too bad the uglier one was going to be RWD. This one is targeted to be FWD.

Looks nice. Not a car I would buy, but I would definitely appreciate the look on the road.

Throw a Lexus badge on there and the garage would be splooging all over it...

If they just built concepts up to federal standards we wouldn't have to get our hopes up. It would cost more money and time, though.

btw-not personally a fan of chevy's current designs outside of the vette which needs an update.

It wouldn't really be a "concept" then. Both this and the 130R they've been showing don't even have an interior.
