what used to be called Mobile to Mobile is not called IN-Network and Verizon is offering unlimited minutes with new or existing plans $39.99 and up.

This is great! Basically everyone I know near me and far away has Verizon so I can talk to them whenever I want!

My plan is now 400 anytime minutes, Unlimited Mobile to Mobile and Unlimited Nights and Weekends

What about recently started plans? I have Verizon though work, and I signed my wife up on BF for a Verizon phone. Anyone know if they're new IN-Network promotion rolls to their subscribers automatically?

You have to call and update your promotion. If you do tho, they renew your contract for a whole new year starting from the change.

yep, I signed with a 2 year contract with Verizon just this past December so resetting it today wasn't a big deal to me as it only adds two months.

Cool 🙂
that's good to hear. Just imagine, renewing the contract another 2 years with just 2 months left 😉

If you call during the daytime hours, will this still come out of daytime minz? Or just mobile to mobile (assuming the other person has Verizon too).

Anytime you call another Verizon phone it falls into this category of useage. That's what makes it so sweet.

Thats the same thing T-Mobile does with family plans, just as verizon used to do. I pay $50 a month for 2 lines, shared 400 anytime, free evenings and weekends, unliminted free web surfing, and unlimited free t-mobile to t-mobile. Congrats though, it is always nice to have spent many hours on the phone in the month and still only use up less than 100 anytime min.

People with Sprint (me) and others have had this for years😉

From what I've heard, Sprint's nationwide network doesn't hold a candle to Verizon.

Couldn't tell you. I've only used my phone in California and I haven't found any real problem spots yet. Besides, I can add unlimited roaming for $5/month and use Verizon's network😛

I'm fine with my discounted $27/mo. per phone plan that comes with 300 anytime minutes per month. $40/mo. is too much IMO. I don't care if you get 200-300 more minutes... unless you really need them all every month.

I just renewed with Sprint.

For $45 I get 750 anytime, unlimited nights and weekends (starts at 7pm) and unlimited pcs to pcs.

And in April, when my phone is 18 months old, I can call them back, resign my contract and get a $150 phone credit. 😀

I have a couple of Sprint phones.
In general, there has been no problem.
One is based at home in Las Vegas.
The other has been from Alaska to Fla.
Never has a problem with the two phones connecting with the exception of there being no service available (by anyone) or here in Phili where some areas all cell coverage is a POS.

Have been able to connect with other peoples Sprint phones and non Sprint phones also.

Verizon coverage SUCKS in my house, and even in my area (Northern Virginia). I get disconnected at least once on every call I make from my house. Yet I'm reluctant to change to Sprint because I have no idea what their coverage area is like.

Whorizon fanboys: No! this is impossible!!! "we got the best coverage." 😀

just go to try other providers, maybe gsm will work for you.

but that also means switching my phone, and i like my phone! (v60) it does everything i want it to and has no odd quirks that bother me.

I have used our Sprints in the Fairfax area, down to Calvert County (Md), up into Fredrick (Md) and over into Wilmington (DE) with no problems.

Even tooling around the Rockville and G-burg back woods, we were not dropped.

You may have to make a choice of phone or coverage.

That IN network calling used to be 1000 moblie to moblie.

I haven't ever used 1000 moblie to moblie minutes anyway.
