Wrong. The motivation's different; he didn't do it to curry favor with the school staff, but instead simply because he didn't like the guy and was having his lunch interrupted.

I never attach a particular motivation to the label of narc. He ratted on a peer to the authorities. In a very fvcked up way I would like add, I could see if the kid was being annoying and smoking a cigarette on school campus and jurzdevil got a teacher(maybe), but going into going into somebody else's backpack to show the administration cigarettes is just messed up.
All I can say is that people remember things like that a lot longer than they remember when you help them. It will all come around eventual buddy.

again i dont see that happening.

our school has a very strict policy towards smoking and possesion of tobacco on school grounds. the kid gets nailed and has to suffer the consequences. now he has to go through rehab and stuff on the first offence. no fines but if he gets caught agian then hes even more screwed. in a way i helped his punkass. hes got a chance to quit smoking and live a little longer.

as for it getting back at me. ive got a perfect record, i dont drink or smoke, dont do anything illwegal. ama good student and going to college next. things could change but i dont think this will affect me later in life like you say.
 
He might get busted for possession now, but we'll all be laughing at you later when you can't get a job due to your 'whistle blowing' nature.

Things have an odd way of working out. Even if you 'get away with it', it still doesnt change the fact that you are a narc asshole.

Man you sound like you?re as big a tool as that guy that started the thread about never drinking beer. Loosen the fuk up. you wanna go to college eh?. Well guess what 110% of people at college drink. Half smoke cigs and or weed. Get used to it. If you have a car about 1000 people will ask for rides to get cigs. You gonna narc on them also?

man, what gives you the right to go in his bag in the 1st place?
it may seem you did something super cool, but know that you now have someone who, in all probability hates you.
You embarrased him in front of a lunch room full of people,got him in trouble with school/and parents.
if you were prudent, you will have to expect some type of retaliation.
could be the house you live in, the car you drive...you just never know.
maybe it wont be immediate, maybe you will see him in a bar in 5 years.
who knows?
