Swallowed glass shards

Made some pasta tonight. Got down to the 2nd to last bite and bit on a really really crunchy object. I thought it was a piece of whole cracked pepper I put in the pasta until I started to taste blood. Spit everything out and saw shards of glasses about the size of the tip of a ball point pen.

No clue how much I swallowed. No clue where it came from. I suspect it came from the pasta sauce jar but I threw it away so I can't check it.

Odds on how long I live?

Actually I just ordered 2TB of drive space bringing my total up to 5TB. I'd take those over my monitor. 🙂

In all seriousness, this could actually be kind of serious. The shards could tear up your stomach or intestinal lining. If you start getting cramping in the next couple of days, see a doctor stat.
