a UPS Tracking # wont work at www.usps.com

SVC does use USPS, unless they've changed in the last six months. I've ordered well over a dozen times with no problems.

Incidentally, the USPS tracking system sucks so don't really expect it to show results right away. Any seasoned eBay veteran will know that. ;)

I bought a fan controller from SVC a couple of months ago and it came fast through USPS. No problems for me. I like the store, has good prices and ships fast. But newegg is still my favorate :)

Dude, they use USPS..

Um, then they use UPS also. Don't believe me? Click on any product and calculate the shipping cost.

Now they are claiming that usps might have lost the package and they cannot do anything about it.

also, they recommended that keep calling usps for next 15 days and may be it will magically show up.

The place is a joke, I've been there a number of times. The salespeople are always loafing around, nobody knows what's in stock.

I placed an order with SVC on the 2nd of July. They charged my card right away offcourse.

Two days later my account was credited back by SVC.

On July 8th, they charge my account back to same amount.

I asked them WTF is this.

So they tell me that they send my order on the 6th of July and the card was charged on 8th.

They never send me a tracking number on the 6th.

After calling them almost every day, today I finally got a tracking number from them.

I checked it over usps site and the tracking number they gave me is not valid.

So its almost been a week since they send my package supposedly and I haven't received it yet and neither does the tracking works.

Every time I wanna talk to them they put you on hold for ever.

SVC sux. :|

So ends my Rant for today........

I use to work there man. The customer service sucks because I'm sure there is only one person answering the phones. That's why you're always on hold. The bosses suck big time too...well...one of them is cool. There are two bosses: one is an arrogant rich guy where his dad funds all of his activities who doesn't know jack about computers and the other is the technical guy...he's cool. Sometimes they would make workers do different things at the same time. They are trying to maximize their gains from one worker than hire another. What they should do is have like 3-4 workers answer the phones which would alleviate the situation. The bosses are sometimes nice, but they need to get through their thick skulls that it takes hardworking loyal employees to make a business successful. This business has a high turnover rate for employees because they are treated like sh!t most of the time....at least when I was there. When you have a high turnover rate, you waste more money and more time retraining new workers. So why do that when you should work hard to keep your employees happy and satisfied.

dude you just explained what was wrong with my old job when i worked for an ebay company. its ten gazillion times worse with ebay cuz you have to be a feedback watcher to check your negatives, esp when you're a power seller.

it also sucks when they realize you can do more than one thing and start PILING IT ON! and then they wonder "hey why isn't this being done?" oh geez i dunno you give me the work of roughly three people and expect me to do it in a day...

tracking via USPS is spotty at best.
i think its just to confirm sending/delivery.
if even that.
its worthless in my estimation.

that sucks, i've never had problems with SVC...but will reconsider when it comes time to order again :(

I went there couple times before they moved.

Then, I stopped buying from them after hearing from one of my friends who worked there for several months. He said that the arrogant boss always think the workers was expandable and treat them like one.

Maybe I will drive over the new places one day to take a look while also checking out softwareandstuff.com local store.

It's basically a small warehouse space with some of those minibikes parked out front. Not much to look at.

Yup...that sounds like the arrogant boss alright. I remember one time, one of the workers there quit because that arrogant boss told him he was nothing, worthless and easily replacable. To him, labor is easily replacable. Now you tell me what kind of business is this? Seriously. When you don't have respect for your own employees, how are you going to maintain dedicated workers? You crush their morale and what happens? The customer service sucks. After I quit that job, I have vowed never to spend 1 cent there again. It's been 2 and a half years since I've worked there and I have still not given them one cent of my money. Any of my friends ask me about SVC and I've always told them to stay away. Apparently they don't even know how to treat their employees right, let alone their customers.

svc screwed up my order so badly that it wasn't even funny.

i placed about a $200 order with them. one thing was out of stock. so they cancelled my order. then they said they shipped it. then they said they did not ship it. so i told them cancel out the out of stock item, and ship my crap. they said they shipped it. then i call and ask about it, and they said it's not shipped becuase something else was out of stock now. gee, if it took you 6 days to ship my crap out, i'm not surprised something else is out of stock!

so i told them to just ship me the crap they have in stock that i ordered. they said ok. then i wait 1 week, and nothing. i'm in California too.

i call back, and they said they didn't ship it.

wtf. so fvck them. i go to any other vendor from now on, and i tell all my colleagues to do the same.

it's a pity, since i'm in corporate sales now, and they could have been a large reseller for me.....too bad for them!!
