Wasn't half of his argument the fact that SUVs aren't practical? Someone please, for the love of god, explain to me what is practical about a V12 Ferrari

it may not be practical, but it is far less dangerous to others on the road.

"are people who tend to be more restless, more sybaritic and less social than most Americans are. They tend to like fine restaurants a lot more than off-road driving, seldom go to church and have limited interest in doing volunteer work to help others."
"Market research shows that people who buy SUVs tend to be people who are particularly worried about their own needs and less concerned about others"
That makes him a dumbass in my book![]()

This is the first thread I started on his book. Maybe you need to check your eyes.

BMW X5's are pretty good for that. Same for Range Rovers. Chicks dig luxury SUVs...

1) I don't think that your typical Escape, CRV, Explorer, Tahoe buyers (all top selling SUVs) are going to be eating at fine restaraunts on a constant basis. Maybe Navigator, Escalade, and RR buyers, but they make up a small % of the SUV sales.
2) Seldom go to church? That is just f*&king stupid. Who comes up with that sh!t? Hell, at my church, SUV's are all in the parking lot.
3) Limited interest in volunteer work?? He needs to STFU. I volunteer, my parents volunteer. Hell, most of the time when I volunteer at different places, it's people in SUV that haul all the damn supplies and materials to the location.
4) More worried about their own needs and no one elses. WTF?? This guy has NO clue.
And what IS it with you that requires you to jump to the defense of something you like calling those who disagree with you "morons"? Are you that insecure?
