You're right, America's never faced crisis before, ever. And certainly not both here and elsewhere. Not in the 1900s, not in the 1910s, not in the 1920s, not in the 1930s, not in the 1940s, not in the 1950s, 1960s, not in the 1970s, not in the 1980s, not in the 1990s, not in the 2000s, not in the 2010s. Or at least I can't remember a single crisis either here or abroad during any of those decades, and for sure we never saw more than one of either of them at any one time before now. Just now in 2020s did we suddenly face crises both at home and abroad. The end is nigh!

The American Rome you believed in was a sham. It never actually existed (unless you're a white nationalist and even they have not been happy so...). Get over it. Don't enable that which you're afraid of by fueling it with your own fear and loathing. There are much bigger concerns.
its cute how you dont live in reality but think you know everything.
I wonder if the two are related......

I'm sure this IS a lefty antifa plant, or will be soon to half the country. They are insidious, the way they implant themselves in families and whatnot, playing the long game and making facebook videos from months or years ago! No way it could possibly be a red-blooded patriot so it has to be Antifa.

It ALWAYS hits me with wondering WHAT THE HELL happened to these people when they woke up this morning to decided that THIS was the way to begin their day?
Did his wife walk out so he blamed Biden?
Did his kid call him a F-ing moron to his face? Did THAT set him off?
Something he seen on FB, twitter, youtube?
Should he have purchased better quality weed, coke, or meth?
Did a face mask scare him?

They have so many other options available to start their day off with besides always defaulting on "overthrowing the government..."
And the funny thing is, hey fella... you're all alone. No insurrectionist behind you.
And as for Donald Trump, Trump is golfing at Mara-Lago. He's not coming either, so good luck with that insurrection thing.

If Democrats had any (united) sense they'd vote to amend the filibuster so that the Repubs pandering to these types can't voter suppress and gerrymander themselves into 2022 Congressional majorities.

If we can't hold these buttwipes legally to account, we need to get them out of office.
The reality I see is that we have two different attitudes in the Democratic Party. One side wants an authoritarian takeover of the governing process and the other wants to do things via compromise.

Group two, it seems to me, are so afraid of offending people on the right they bend over backward not to offend them. They do this with the mental delusion they are actually dealing with sincere people who must really see reality like them. Biden says it's who we are, good people. Such good people just pulled out of Afghanistan leaving millions of women to medieval subjection with God knows how many men and women yet to be murdered. The Army won't fall and the Taliban aren't that bad.

Haha, what do you bet this will cause Republicans to be back in the majority on the next election. Democrats are a fucking joke.

Anyway, as I have said since Trump showed up as a Republican candidate, Democrats are mentally incapable of dealing with an authoritarian right so I do not expect anything like holding the buttweipes legally to account from them. It's just not polite to go after a past President and there is so much to compromise about that needs to get done. Wonderful idea were it not for the fact that Democrats are psychologically incapable of doing anything but running themselves out of office anytime they get into power. Americans are full of rage because nothing ever happens to change anything. We are just one fuck-up on top on another. Everywhere you go there are people acting out their rage, masses of entitled idiots who have no idea what they want or how to get it. The reason I believe this is because I'm pretty sure I'm God Damned one of them. Who is really more right? Manchin or AOC. How can one really know? I know that I don't.

Yeah I don't think the irony is lost on them that they are fuming at Biden for leaving 10k Americans behind enemy lines yet the guy wants to use a truck bomb to kill his fellow countrymen.

Run Forrest, run!

GOP Rep. Mo Brooks slammed by fellow lawmakers for statement about D.C. bomb threat suspect (msn.com)

Fellow House members criticized Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., after he released a statement Thursday that appeared to be sympathetic to the man police had arrested earlier in the day in connection with a bomb threat near the U.S. Capitol.
Haha> "I understand citizenry anger directed at dictatorial Socialism and its threat to liberty, freedom and the very fabric of American society,” Brooks tweeted.

What he means to say is not that he understands anything but that he feels the same way and believes that those dictatorial Socialists are just like him, filled with the madness of delusional hatred. His understanding consists of the realization of what he world do to others were he in a position to do it without consequence because he is absolutely certain he is right. He is a sick motherfing fanatic, who is happy to affirm to the world the desire to kill Democrats is perfectly rational but just prevented by law. What I simply can't understand and remains impossible to comprehend is why Democrats on hearing his message could possibly have any wishes them selves that somebody would kill him as a megalomaniacal threat.
