One of the rumors that was put out was that he had a propane bomb. Hope he didn't just pull the one from his barbeque grill on the patio. But, yea, it's amazing how much patience the LE is displaying. (Not really).

If Democrats had any sense they would ask Trump to talk this guy down for the good of the country.
If Democrats had any (united) sense they'd vote to amend the filibuster so that the Repubs pandering to these types can't voter suppress and gerrymander themselves into 2022 Congressional majorities.

If we can't hold these buttwipes legally to account, we need to get them out of office.

I just read a transcript of stuff he's been saying, he's a 49 year old Trump supporter from North Carolina...shocking, that. Why are all the loonies right around 49? I should be worried because I'm older than that and (to me at least) haven't cracked yet...

He's saying the Democrats should step down, and the foundations of revolution have been laid, blah blah. And is calling for all the revolutionaries to join him. I'll trade a couple buildings being damaged for "oops" accidental friendly fire if he can take out a bunch of Jan 6 lunatics with him.

Let me guess ... this guy expected Trump to be installed as president last Friday, and decided to take things into his own hands when he wasn’t?

He literally sounds crazy from the quotes I read. Crazier than the typical GOP-er so pretty damn crazy. That, or high on meth, and why not both. The scariest part is that he has kids. They might have been better off in the long run if he'd blown himself up.

And this is how Rome fell.

Multiple crises abroad and at home.

The absolute tip of the iceberg. Stay safe, folks.

You're right, America's never faced crisis before, ever. And certainly not both here and elsewhere. Not in the 1900s, not in the 1910s, not in the 1920s, not in the 1930s, not in the 1940s, not in the 1950s, 1960s, not in the 1970s, not in the 1980s, not in the 1990s, not in the 2000s, not in the 2010s. Or at least I can't remember a single crisis either here or abroad during any of those decades, and for sure we never saw more than one of either of them at any one time before now. Just now in 2020s did we suddenly face crises both at home and abroad. The end is nigh!

The American Rome you believed in was a sham. It never actually existed (unless you're a white nationalist and even they have not been happy so...). Get over it. Don't enable that which you're afraid of by fueling it with your own fear and loathing. There are much bigger concerns.
