Suspended from riding the bus for farting

Sure, kids fart. Read the article, these two boys weren't farting because "whoops, it just happened". They planned a disruption, just like they had previously and been warned not to again.

The parents should be ashamed, upset, and in full smack down mode of their kids. Yet, they defend their actions.

Three days they can't ride the bus. No big whoop. Guaranteed when they return they won't be farting together on the bus any more in attempts to gain fanfare. Which shows a successful punishment by the school.

A disruption on the bus? Are you kidding me? The whole friggin bus ride is a disruption. Did you ever ride the bus when you went to school? What are kids supposed to do after 7 hours cooped up in a classroom, sit there quietly with their hands on the bus for another hour? Please.....

I also love you used the word "smackdown", aren't you one who believes a good conversation with a child will cure anything?

How do you know it will increase the issue?

It won't. Especially those that got in trouble for doing it. You think they would turn around and do it again? BS.

Those kids will do it again, and again, and again...farts happen, making a big deal about it is what kids do.

More nannyism by the state. Don't like something? Call the goon squad and have it removed for you. Fuckin' assholes. It must be nice to have schools that are so awesome, there's nothing else to talk about, or improve than a farting kid.

Yep, because the government were monitoring the situation and called in the National Guard to kick these kids off the bus. 🙄

This is an individual decision on the part of the driver and the assistant principal, get off the damn soap box.

It's all a part of the same problem. Instead of handling things on their own, everybody's first response is to get "the authorities" involved. From the highest point in government, down to the fucktard HOAs. Everyone wants a "safe" little place in the world, and can't take anything that deviates from their world view. Tall grass, scary Muslims, and farting kids. We need LAWS to protect us :^S

how do i know? because kids will be kids. i guarantee the amount of gas being passed on that buss is going to go up.

to punish kids for this is a mistake and makes them all look like fools. should the kids got yelled at? sure. a 10 day suspension? insane.
where did you read "a 10 day suspension"?

ffs waggy, it wasn't a "mistake". a few of you guys are being absolutely ridiculous in this thread. it was intentional. it wasn't a little fart that slipped out. both of the boys did it together as planned just as they had done it previously.

you have kids. you think it's fine for your son and another kid to be disruptive on the bus? if it's causing an uproar, and making the other kids pull down the windows it's not just a little gas it's these two boys doing it to get a reaction.

funny, how they farted at the same time like that. not once, but twice, talented young men they are.

i wonder if they played the telephone game on the bus if the entire bus would get suspended for sychronized singing.

Your Dad sounds like a winner.

his dad sounds like someone who is not so uptight that they get offended or pissed off that kids are farting. if you agree or not is one thing but to insult his parents?

the school and driver went far overboard.

lol good thing the buss driver was not driving when i was in school. i remember when we had a wrestling meet and always on the way back you would hear people farting. Boys are gross and we do gross stuff when younger. to punish them for something 99% of the population does is insane.

i don't agree with you. reminds me more and more of one of those parents whose kids can do no wrong, every teacher's nightmare.

a parent who rips one to prove a point in the principal's office might be your role model, but to me, that's a sad individual.

A hour long bus ride to school, that has to suck.

That would mean having to get up a hour earlier then normal just to catch the bus.

And you think it's okay to take away the kids' way of getting to school? They're riding the bus for a reason... it's going to be a huge PITA for the parents to take then if they can do so at all. It's possible these kids will now be missing school for such a stupid reason.

But hey, it's just school. Who fucking cares if the kids can get there or not right? Better make sure they aren't RUDE... my heavens what would we do if these kids were allowed to make gross noises. The fabric of humanity would collapse on itself I tell you!

WHY WON'T ANYBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!!?!?!

but damn you if you let a whiff pass! you will get kicked off!

i'm sure the kids cause more disruption and smell worse then any fart does...

good! think maybe now they will think twice before being disruptive on the bus? yes, they will.

the parents will find them a ride or likely just take them for the 3 days. you do realize that, right?

your post is really not well thought out.

It was very well thought out, you're just ignoring the real world. If you can go 1-2 hours out of your way to drive your kids to school without any issues from your job or boss then congrats... many others can't. It's an hour DRIVE to school, which means they can't really walk so that's out. If the parents can't drive and can't find a ride they're not going to school. Why is that so hard for you to understand? People can't always drop their shit and completely alter their lives when the transportation they rely on can't be used anymore.

And you think the kids at their age will view missing this school as a punishment? HA!

Like I've said, and you didn't absorb, maybe they will think twice about being disruptive on the bus again if this punishment is causing them hardship. That is what punishments are supposed to do. duh!
