Because maybe someone pissed or shit in that can, or laced it with cholera or rigged a bomb to it. It's not a matter of doing a nice thing. They're not judging, just disgusted.

It was clean, but even if it was a little bit dirty i would have taken a piece of old newspaper. Not a big deal. Of course i examine something before i pick it up.

Just punch everyone you meet on the street. This will solve so many problems.
Well with my feature set, if i wanted to hurt or kill a large group of people i would not attack them myself. I would use physics, electronics and biology instead. Much more practical then hitting everybody. But then again, i want people to try to think before they act. As i try to do so myself every day.

The issue is that most people who show improper or anti social behavior, when addressed on that behavior get aggressive and sometimes physically violent. It is rare luckily, but if i am forced to defend myself, i will make sure the pain and discomfort for my attacker will stay for at least a few weeks.
I will show binary behavior then.

Listen to all the parents in this thread saying it is no big deal. I bet they are the same parents that do nothing to discipline their own kids. You know these types of kids that don't give a fuck because they know nothing is going to happen to them. I'm willing to bet these 2 were more then just farting on the bus. Someone already posted that they started to swear at the bus driver. What was the bus drive to do? It not like she can bitch slap them to shut them up, that be a big law suit waiting to happen. How out of control were these kid I don't know but I'm willing to bet there was more leading up to this.

Sounds retarded...kids are kids, let them fart, who the fuck cares? I know I was ripping ass on campus all the way up to high school. Probably did it in college, too...lol.

lot's of sad ass parents above. 20 years ago if these were your kids you'd be FUCKING embarrassed.

YAY TODAY WE DEFEND THEM!

I think most of the uproar is that the punishment was more severe than it should have been. Was it rude? Yes. Should it be punished? Debatable. Should the punishment be 10 days without any way of getting to school? Doesn't make any sense. Extra homework/reports, detention during free period, something other than this. This made no sense.

Suspension is the only option that doesn't punish someone else.

Who gets to create and grade this extra homework? Who gets to stay after to sit with some child that is being punished.

10 days, if they fail so be it.

Their 13-year-old son and another boy were on the school bus Thursday when they both experienced an emission. Children being children, the flatulence apparently caused a ruckus on the bus amid a flurry of laughs, jeers and lowering of windows, Nichols said.

...

The bus driver had warned the boys a few weeks ago after another joint gas attack, so they apparently were designated repeat offenders and handed one-day bus suspensions, Nichols said.

Nichols has a sense of humor about the incident but is amazed that his seventh-grader, Anthony, would be kicked off the bus for doing what comes naturally - and accidentally.

I'm sorry but I'd have to side with the bus driver. The kids are intentionally provoking.

When I was in high school I remember our bus driver getting in trouble a lot because the worst kids on the bus would complain to their parents, who would then complain to the school, and whatever the kid complained about was completely made up or a huge exaggeration to reality. Like one time the bus was making a slow turn through a tight intersection of town and the light was green when she started but red by the time she finished the turn - the next day the kid's mother tried getting onto the bus to chew out the driver for running red lights. And that kid was one of the worst mischievous kids on the bus but them other thought he was some perfect angel.

The bus driver should have talked to the parents at the bus stop and said "Hey, your kid is intentionally farting on the bus and it's causing problems." The parents can scold the kid, and all is well. Everyone runs to the authority instead of just dealing with he problem. The kids would learn more from a lesson from their parents anyways.

Do they just leave the bus running in traffic and unattended with other kids on it? Do they assume that the parents are waiting at the bus stop in the morning when they get there?

Authority is for dealing with the problems rather than one on one. They are to remain impartial.

Nichols seems like 90% of the problem as well.

See that's the problem...farting in public is probably one of the most profane and rude acts someone can do especially with a trapped audience like a bus or train.

That's just ok to you though, sort of proves the stereotype of the mullet-wearing Mustang and Camaro owners as well.

It's one thing to let a fart slip and apoligize and yes, that is what you do when that happens. It's another when someone is purposely doing it and acting like they couldn't help it.

Why do you always resort to personal attacks?

Well, pointing out the personal deficiencies of a person directly IMHO is the best way to decredit further points.

It's like the dude that is a fat ass and claims he is some kind of gold medal olympic champion and will run down and crush another man if he stole his wallet.

"hey, fattie; you can barely make it to the living room before running out of breath...how you going to chase a guy that stole your wallet"

"oh yeah, that....well....well....welll, I'd pull out my DE .50 and blow them away!".

"hey, fattie, you don't own a gun"

Oh man... don't even get me started on school bus drivers. I think in middle school we went through 3-4 of them who overstepped their authority and punished the lot of us for stupid ass things. There's a lot of bus drivers that simply can't handle kids, and that's a big deal.

Conversely my bus driver would ignore all kinds of bullying and harassment that occurred on his vehicle.

You tried to discredit (there's that word again) me by using a word that doesn't exist. When, in fact, what really happened was you displayed your lack of knowledge of the English language, in turn discrediting(it has an ING on the end, but it's still the same word) you more so than me. Bitch.

If I was in a financial position to buy the Shelby, I would. Wife needs a new car before I do. Plus, the dealership sold it yesterday.

They don't make more GT500's than one per year. Be a baller like me and just buy two cars.

Maybe if you weren't so focused on typographical errors you'd be more successful in life.

Just so you know, I know there is no word 'decredit'. You may want to lose focus on that.

Well my wife is out of town in Japan for a few weeks so it's my playtime.

Should be heading out around 9 or 10ish tonight, waiting to hear back from a couple exes...don't think there will be balls involved except my own though, some of them are freaks though so you never know.

Has anyone asked just how one farts on demand? Inquiring minds.

Damn, it only took a page and a half, I too would like to know this. I can hold one in but even then cannot release it on demand and if I hold it too long, end up with an upset digestive system. I can't imagine how one synchronizes "emissions." Now a stink bomb is quite different but there is no evidence that is what happened here.
