i love how he takes a shot at bear with the hotels thing. 😉 I think everyone agrees he's more hardcore but Bear is more entertaining.
 
He was way better I agree. At least his stuff was real and didn't need a "This episode features fake scenes" disclaimer at the beginning.

meh... the new stuff from Man v Wild, Bear has changed a lot of stuff and the show is hardly as entertaining, in the past it was great though

Survivorman is still as awesome as it was very first episode
 
Great show. Lotta respect for what he did, especially carrying his own cameras and stuff.

I did not enjoy the harmonica though.
 
I like how he actually does everything, but it does get repetitive. I want to see Bear get more and more reckless. "I'm really hungry, should I attack this bear and her cubs for meat?"

I loved when he would just kick it and play the harmonica, see the episode when he had the guitar, that was great too
 
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! But I totally understand him wanting to go out on top. I bet its got to be tough for him to go with nothing for a week vs all of the random supplies Bear has. Bear has just gotten stupid with his risks as PottedMeat states.

Amen. I caught an episode of Man vs Wild a couple nights ago where he was "mountaineering" in Patagonia. There was so much horseshit in there it was unreal.

Yea. I mean how could you think that Les living out in the wilderness for a week is better than some guy that stays near the highways with camera men and pretends to get out of some remote area that's life threatening.

I always loved his devotion to good camera angles. He'd do crap like set up a camera recording him walking across an ice shelf a thousand yards away from the camera. Great shot, but then he has to walk back to get the camera! And whatever superman batteries he is using, I want some.
