Ok, here is the deal. Go to a command prompt and type "ping forums.anandtech.com" and paste your scores here.

I am from Denmark and pings around 110 ms.

How do all you americans "ping" lets find out 🙂

You guys better watch out. This might invoke Modus to give a piece of his mind about the irrevelevancy of comparing pings to servers, especially when locations and line conditions can make these numbers vary.

Obviously, the people with high-speed DSL and cable connections are going to beat the dial-up users hands-down.

I'll give you a good example. My lines suck. I just ran a ping and I only average 202 ms. on my crappy dial-up connection. Now obviously the person who has a lower latency connection or lives CLOSER to the forums server is probably going to get better results. I live in Arizona.

How do you copy &amp; paste the detail to the forum. When I ping the server a DOS box opens and closes when its finished not giving me time to copy &amp; paste.
