Survey’s surprising finding: tea party less popular than atheists and Muslims

Taking it back, and you can't stop us.

And LOL at the tired and completely inaccurate picture the left tries to paint.
"They are overwhelmingly white, but even compared to other white Republicans, they had a low regard for immigrants and blacks long before Barack Obama was president, and they still do," they went on.

More liking handing Obama his second term on a silver platter. Thanks for nothing.

I don't think so. Remember, this isn't reality, it's political news. All the hyperbole aside, Americans are more center right with a strong socially liberal side than the loudest among us, hard left/hard right both, wish.

I wouldn't worry about the effect the Tea Party has until we see the actual nominee, pretty sure one of the "Tea Party" whacko's are going to end up anywhere near the nomination.

That's actually quite accurate. The reason the Tea Party seems like they're a big group or seems popular is that they tend to be the loudest. The most extreme groups always are the loudest and usually are much smaller than they appear. Unfortunately right now the Republican mainstream seems to think the Tea Party is more important than it is and is letting them have the reins. Once the Republican party starts ignoring the Tea Party, then we can actually get some semblance of cooperation in Washington.

The conservative public faces have embarassed themselves enough. With scandals, on air hissy fits, support and praise that contradicts the very ideas they seem to champion.

Jon Stewart felt bad when Obama was elected, because he thought he would no longer have anyone to mock and humiliate on the same level of sheer political stupidity as Bush. The Tea Party ensured Jon Stewart has a busy and entertaining show.

Its like Bush Jr. ran into a wall, shattered into tiny little idiots and they grew into full sized adults with grains of sand for brains (meaning, the peices of Bush's brain grew as well).

The are full of fear and hate for those different than them. Any conservative views they support or scream about is for their benefit and self preservation only. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to eat their own in 2012.

Are you asking me out on a date?

Careful, if you say yes;
- he will take to you an expensive restaurant owned by a friend of his
- have you robbed in the rest room
- make you pay for the dinner
- make you pay for his transportation home
- force himself on you
- then call the cops to arrest you, and,...
- tell everyone what a deviant you are

Those conservative boys are a nightmare date.

LMAO

LMAO coming from a Repug hack like yourself.

You would be mistaken. I hate the Republican party almost as much as the Democrat party. There are numerous major issues I take issue with as far as the Republican platform is concerned.

You however, as I stated, just ride the (D) line and never break. You are just a partisan hack and nobody should take what you say seriously.

Opinions are like assholes and you certainly are one 😉
