Guess what I'll be doing the week of Christmas? Getting surgery.

I broke my nose several times when I was young, and now I can't breathe out of one side of my nose...so I have to go get plastic surgery on Tuesday. I hope I won't still be knocked out on pain killers for Christmas.

I am having surgery also for Christmas. I am getting LASIK done on the 29th. I can't believe I scheduled it for then, New Year's eve is going to suck.

I had rotator cuff surgery 5 days before my birthday my senior year of high school (4 yrs ago). I thought it was going to be so bad just laying in bed for 2 weeks, but it ended up being ok because all of my friends and family came to visit and make me feel better Good luck with the surgery konichiwa, hope everything goes ok.

Because I can hardly breathe, and it was either this week or wait until Spring. Sooo...breathing is kinda important to me.

konichiwa, although i can understand what you went through, it just couldn't be just as bad as what happened to me: my left lung collapsed a couple months ago man, i can tell you how sh!tty if was...i felt massive pain the whole day, could barely breath, i could barely walk, and i was told i was even kind of pale! of course, i didn't know what was going on until i went to the hospital and got an xray. so, next thing i knew, i had a couple chest tubes in, you guessed it duh!, in my chest to expands my lungs again. a week later i get released and get better. and that's not even the bad part. within a week, the damn thing collapsed again. now i was mad :| i was told that i needed surgery after i got another chest tube put in me. boy, that really sucks, for it didn't feel good at all, and like konichiwa said, breathing is also important to me
although i couldn't get enough of morphines shots!
