Guess what I'll be doing the week of Christmas? Getting surgery. 🙁

I broke my nose several times when I was young, and now I can't breathe out of one side of my nose...so I have to go get plastic surgery on Tuesday. I hope I won't still be knocked out on pain killers for Christmas. 🙁

Yeah... kind of a rotten time of the year for that sort of thing.

I am having surgery also for Christmas. I am getting LASIK done on the 29th. I can't believe I scheduled it for then, New Year's eve is going to suck.
 
I had rotator cuff surgery 5 days before my birthday my senior year of high school (4 yrs ago). I thought it was going to be so bad just laying in bed for 2 weeks, but it ended up being ok because all of my friends and family came to visit and make me feel better 🙂 Good luck with the surgery konichiwa, hope everything goes ok.

Because I can hardly breathe, and it was either this week or wait until Spring. Sooo...breathing is kinda important to me. 😉

konichiwa, although i can understand what you went through, it just couldn't be just as bad as what happened to me: my left lung collapsed a couple months ago 🙁 man, i can tell you how sh!tty if was...i felt massive pain the whole day, could barely breath, i could barely walk, and i was told i was even kind of pale! of course, i didn't know what was going on until i went to the hospital and got an xray. so, next thing i knew, i had a couple chest tubes in, you guessed it duh!, in my chest to expands my lungs again. a week later i get released and get better. and that's not even the bad part. within a week, the damn thing collapsed again. now i was mad :| i was told that i needed surgery after i got another chest tube put in me. boy, that really sucks, for it didn't feel good at all, and like konichiwa said, breathing is also important to me 🙂
although i couldn't get enough of morphines shots! 😉

Good luck Koni. Even though that sucks I hope at least being able to breathe better will make up for having to get the operation right before Christmas. 🙂

Good Luck Koni.......... I had sinus surgery in October and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Remember............ what does not kill you makes you stronger 😉
