Supreme Court rules against permanent residency for some immigrants

Looks like this affects those who entered into the US illegally, and remained for a period of time. It also affects TPS migrants. No permanent residency for you. As one who believes in a strict border, I support this ruling. We need to encourage immigrants to come across legally.

Supreme Court rules against permanent residency for some immigrants (msn.com)

The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally and were later allowed to remain in the country for humanitarian reasons are not eligible to become permanent residents.

The court held that the lawful entry requirement is not dropped even if a person is later granted temporary protected status (TPS) due to humanitarian crises in their home country arising from war or other disasters.

Good. Our completely open border policy is a disaster.

The admin says only what people want to hear, ie, "the border is closed" but this is a bald face lie. Why the liberal media is NOT fact checking that and constantly badgering Biden about it is beyond me. Oh wait, they are liberals too and support open borders so they look the other way.

Encourage and incite citizenship to people who perform illegal actions. What could possibly go wrong?

Hang on, I'm retrieving this giant list of countries that stand beside that line of thinking.

Oh wait. It's empty.

Hell, even developing countries don't stand for that shit.

How long until all forms of entry are deemed illegal and thus this ruling means that no one can be considered a permanent resident? IS the SC fucking retarded? Do they not understand the implications of this?

I fully expect this to devolve to the point where Trump says that only white people can legally immigrate and the SC ruling means that only white people can become permanent residents.

Your statement is ignorant and presumptous. If you enter this country illegally you dont get to become a citizen. Why do you oppose that?

Bwahahahahahaha.

Good luck finding your Pride Boys wives then.

Women cross the border and are an instant upgrade to American men who don't fancy 400 pound buffaloes as their wives.

Way better than doing a fiance visa out of Ukraine/ Russia/ China/ Philippines/ Vietnam and getting scammed by entering legally with a 90 day fiance via and losing 50% of your house and shit the instant you sign your name on the marriage document.

And this is reality and you fucking know it.

Because your agenda is to eventually make all forms of immigration illegal and all paths to citizenship impossible.

I literally explained why in the post you quoted.
You still have not provided any sound reasoning other than the typical Liberal response of "cause the racists". I guess you believe the fact that no sovereign nation has the ability to control immigration and that any one in the world has a right to immigrate to any country.

One major factor always conveniently left out of the equation is with addressing those employers who willing and knowingly HIRE these illegals.
The businesses, the farmers, the small business, they have no problem with knowingly hiring an illegal for the low wage, for the tax benefit (no reporting), and for the slave labor. Yes, hiring a slave because if the employer abuses the illegal employee IN ANY WAY, what is the employee going to do? Run to the cops? Run to the labor board?

Take the case of Cristhian Rivera who was found guilty of murdering student Mollie Tibbetts in iOwa. Cristhian Rivera was an illegal yet he was employed. He had a house, he owned a car, yet during the entire trial not one word "NOT ONE WORD" was brought up on how Rivera was able to acquire employment and then remain employed. Because... if they had simply asked during the trial, then that iOwa farm owner, a Trump republican by the way, would have been exposed for knowingly hiring illegals and failing to check the employee(s) legal status. WHY? For the cheap farm labor. For the slave farm labor. But no.... this ""fucing farmer"" a REPUBLICAN and a Trump supporter, was very well protected. Protected during the trial, and protected within a republican farm state where employment of illegals is widespread and common practice.

It doesn't take rocket science to figure this murder case. The guy was an illegal, he seen a pretty girl jogging along and thought he would flirt with the lady, she freaked and grabbed her cell phone to call police, Cristhian Rivera panicked because he knew this meant deportation back to Mexico for sure, and so he did something he would have never done under normal circumstances, he had to shut her up and so he murdered Mollie Tibbetts.

Now, what I want to know is, what role does this Trump republican iOwa fucing farmer play in the murder of Mollie Tibbetts? This fucing farmer enabled the murder of Mollie Tibbetts by hiring an illegal such as Cristhian Rivera. And thus as with this hire we have a developed syndrome seldom mentioned concerning illegals living in America.. And the syndrome? The terror of being deported. The terror of being caught. And that syndrome worsens when that illegal is given a job (by this fucing Trump republican farmer) and given a wage and thus allowed to take part in THE AMERICAN DREAM, however not really because that wannabe American is still an illegal.

So the terror of being caught AND deported resulted in a murder. Cristhian Rivera could not risk being exposed as illegal, and Cristhian Rivera never expected Mollie Tibbetts to react the way she did, and thus.... in terror.... Cristhian Rivera.... panicked.
And the fucing iOwa farm owner, the employer of Cristhian Rivera, this farmer is NEVER ASKED about his part in this horrific murder. The Trump supporting republican farm owner GETS AWAY WITH MURDER while Cristhian Rivera goes to jail for life.

The court "could have" brought to the stand and simply asked this farmer, "did you know Cristhian Rivera was illegal? Did you pay him a salary? Did you withhold taxes from his pay? Did you report taxes to the state and to the IRS? And if so.... under what social security number did you report? However none of that was ever asked because EVERYONE in the court room would have known the answers to the questions thus exposing the fucing iOwa republican farmer for what he was... complicit with murder.

See folks.... life is not fair. The wealthy, the Trump's, the iOwa republican farmers who knowingly hire illegals, they all get away with murder. They are well protected. They are never responsible nor held accountable.

Marrying an illegal immigrant should be a felony.

So should hiring them...

I would be more persuaded by this argument if Republicans didn’t make legal immigration more difficult at every opportunity.

Guest worker programs, things like that. We have a tremendous demand for immigrant labor and a looming demographics crisis. Democrats have offered to trade border crackdowns for these programs in the past and republicans revolted. Why? Because they don’t want immigrants, legal or no.

The biggest problem that none of you can come up with a reasonable answer for is why should border crossers have ANY advantage over the others that are a part of the other 200+ countries and territories?

The primary answer is a practical one - they are in many cases already established members of society that are contributing or that we have spent a bunch of money educating. There are millions and millions of them and no amount of wishing the problem away is going to change this basic fact.

So, you make them citizens - it’s common sense. If you want to do that as part of a legal scheme to restrict further illegal immigration and to encourage people to do it legally well I’ve got some great news:

Oh wait, House Republicans refused to even consider it.

And there you go again... arguing against something no one argued in favor of.

Except no one in the world does that dipshit. You proclaim common sense, but for some reason you leave out that whole "common" part lol.

Please enlighten us with your solution for the 10 million+ illegal immigrants currently residing inside the US.
And just a heads up, I'm gonna expect your solution to be just as unemotional and cost-effective as one the Eski proposed. And hey, you're a conservative, so doing that shouldn't be hard for you, right?

If Trump said to put them in ovens and turn on the gas, all the Evangelicals and confederate flag waving base would say ok
