I actually quite enjoyed it overall. In fact I enjoyed it more than Knocked Up.

However, it could just be that my standards are lower now, since decent comedies are very few and far between nowadays so when I find something I even laugh at a little bit, I'm happy.

I couldnt disagree more, I find his humor to often be subtle and quite intelligent. His two telivision shows freaks and geeks and undeclared were both great but neither succeeded unfortunately. I agree superbad is probably the worst of all his work but if you dont find humor in knocked up then I dont know what to tell ya!

and I think he's doing that Dewey Cox movie which looks so completely retarded. Sounds like another Talladega Nights.

not that i don't like that kind of humor, because I do like it, but it just has to be done in a certain way. just blurting it out because you can isn't funny.

Yes I suppose that is true, I still didnt find it to be a bad film like super rod or whatever that bike movie was.

yeah he was really trying hard w/ freaks and geeks & undeclared to be hip, lol. his only association with superbad is being a producer based on knowing the guys that wrote the script. he didn't write it. he didn't direct it. he didn't act in it. they attached his name to it for instant credibility since he just came off knocked up and 40 year old virgin.

Everyone touts Knocked Up in a comparison to Superbad. I laughed almost constantly at Superbad .... I think I chuckled maybe 3 times during Knocked Up. I was quite disappointed by it considering how hyped up it had been by people.

It's not my fault we're inundated with shitty games, movies, music, etc. When I find somethign I like, I post that I like it. In the sea of shit it's hard to find that small island of goodness.

It's just like you a-holes on this forum. Tons of worthless posts but every now and then a good thread comes along.
