I watched it the other night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe partly because I haven't seen a good space sci-fi movie lately.

But I generally liked the pace, the effects, etc.

I'm surprised how lenient the ATOT crowd are of this film given how critical they usually are. :Q

Cinematically it's the best scifi space movie to come out in a very long time

That's the reason I went to see it. 😉

I'll admit that this movie definitely had its physics flaws, and the crazy guy was definitely a little over the top. But the rest of the movie was so well made that it wouldn't feel right leaving a negative commentary.

movie was awful. it just went completely downhill. it started cool though with a good concept.

i would have liked it better if i stopped watching it 3/4 through the movie.

I love Boyle's work, but I'm one of the guys that thought the "twist" was horrible. Sure, it was based on a book and whatnot...but just judging it as a movie, I was thinking "this film is amazing" until about the last half hour. Then it ended and I asked myself "wtf just happened and why".

Oh well, still love Danny Boyle 😛

very slow during the begining but fast paced during the end.

was the mutant guy in sunshine really necassary

That seems to be the general consensus among us science geeks 😛
My friend on the other hand thought of it as a welcome change that picked up the tempo
