All calendars here in Sweden show Sunday as the last day of the week so that's what it is.
Interesting, did not know it was different in some places. That makes more sense IMO.
Weekend

If you think of the week as a straight line, the line has two ends. So Sunday is at one end and Saturday is at the other. Both days are weekend days.
Left to right. The line has a beginning and an end.
Think about it.
Left to right. The line has a beginning and an end.
The left side isn't the end. It's the beginning.
Time always moves forward and in science, time moves from left to right.
I have never seen a graph with time moving right to left.
Nope. You're wrong. My opinion is all that matters.
Come to think of it, why is it considered the first anyway? It represents the day God rested after creating everything, so it should be the official end of the week. The first day on Earth would have been a Monday. Well, guess technically it would have been Sunday because everything was done and fully operational. Hmm.
