Well you know they have scientific evidence that he was Brown right. I mean he was Jewish you know. That should kinda give you a hint.

same. grade school friend hung himself this past january with a bed sheet from a god damn ceiling fan. it'll eat at me the rest of my life knowing i was sitting having a beer with him a few hours before he did it and never picked up one single vibe.

He was the son of God, there is no scientific proof.
Nihilism is such a pointless philosophy (mind the pun). Who cares if life has intrinsic value or meaning? We can derive meaning from our relationships. Life's meaning is emergent, just like a snow flake has no intrinsic structure if you only look at it as a collection of water molecules, beauty emerges from the structure not of individual molecules but of their relationship to one another. So is life.
I feel bad that someone of obvious intellect has ended his life, nihilism is a terrible thing.
Yea but imagine if he was Black. Like drop a Black dude in the middle of a bunch of whities. NO way they gonna worship him. Drop a white dude in the middle of Japan, no one people gonna think he's son of God.
They were Jews. He was a Jew. He wasn't an Alien like Supreme Commander Thor.

Many Japanese are Christain though, they have white Jesus pics.
That's a good thought and would be the end of discussion if people were immortal.
But people worry about what that means about death. If life interactions are the ultimate meaning, then death is the end of it all. Since all people die, is there a point if life is intrinsically meaningless?
Logically, probably not because whether you die today or 100 years from now, the "result" is the same.
you saying Jesus was fucking black or something.

(What suicide note would be complete without a

According to the boston globe article, a separate note to his mom asked her to maintain a website he made to distribute the book and she was going to do so. Bastards didn't link to it though![]()
You know what a true nihilist would have done? A true nihilist, after completing the last page of their 1900 page opus on the meaningless of life, would have thrown the thing into the fire and forgotten the whole thing. That.... would have taken balls.
You know that's actually a damn good point. A nihilist certainly wouldn't ask a family member to keep their website up and running after their death. You know what a true nihilist would have done? Yea, because the White Missionaries succeeded.
