I was looking for a TV tuner card that is not attached to a video card. If possible something that can support high definition formats. This is for a HTPC project so any help would be appreciated thanks!

ATI HDTV Wonder card, hands down.
Once you get this card, you can install M$ MCE 2005 on it and MCE 2005 will recognize this card. Finally you could watch shows.![]()

The MyHD MDP-120 is without a doubt the best HD card out there. The ATI card really is a piece of crap in comparison.

From my experience, ATI TV cards absolutely suck. The cards themselves are OK, but the software is abysmal.
Exactly my point, the software blows. If you want something for TiVo like functionality odds are it'll cost you extra.Originally posted by: Tiamat
