I wouldn't want him fired, but I wouldn't eat there again either. If I didn't know, I wouldn't have cared.

.... Really? You wouldn't eat there again? You realize that lots of workers at Subway have probably engaged in promiscuous fornication, right?

Like I said "If I didn't know". I am aware of the trash and crap (literally) that every employee that touches my food does. However, I have never asked or been told that they have done it, so I am very happy returning. If someone came out and told me that some guy does porn and serves my food, bye.

It's stupid considering I know all of this in the back of my mind, but it's nice to ignore certain things to get by. It's like shaking someone's hand after they just came out of the washroom... did he wash his hands or not?

Edit: Going to clarify and say yes, it is a psychological, not scientific, "clean".

There shall be no uncut meat in this household.

Not gonna be buying from your local Canadian deli, eh?

I don't like cheese on my footlong.

You just like less meat?

I honestly never understood why someone would want to force an employer to employ them, or a business onwer to do business with them.

That's kinda like forcing a GF/BF to date you.

If the employer is a homophobe, why would you want to work for him if you're gay?

And yes, my point extends to all forms of discrimination, protected or not. Why, if someone hated you, would you want to make that person money???

Because there was a time in this country when an entire race of people who lived here were discriminated against? Along with being killed, beaten, raped and treated worse than the family dog simply because of the color of their skin?

Again, we arent talking about any of that. We are talking about a pornstar. Not protected, never will be.

As opposed to just regular fornication?

Homosexuals are protected. He might have a case if he can get a jury to believe that Subway fired him for being gay. I don't really care either way honestly but I don't think he should have been fired.

Yes, but they would never be able to prove that it was because he was gay. If the owner started dropping the F*G bomb on him when he fired him, that would be different.

It depends. We don't know all the facts of his employment or termination. Subway would likely settle out of court if they thought he had any chance at all of a settlement anyway.

No sense in arguing about it here.

what about by someone whos just been devirginized? like, they make you a sandwich after you took their innocence...

Met a guy who did gay porn.. claimed to be straight. Had a really super hot girlfriend, too. Even funnier was that I found this out from a note slid under my apartment door, labeled for my gay roommate. Inside it said "Google: [Gay Porn Actor's Stage Name]" but apparently it wasn't from the actor because the gay guy tried to slip him a note back that ended in "P.S. I'm Bigger" and the actor avoided him for the rest of the time we knew eachother.

You mean you prefer the dudes that have their hand on their member as opposed their hand on some girl (or another man's member if you are of that orientation)?

it would depend on the state. sexual orientation has protected status in only a small number of states. in most parts of america, states, it is still legal to fire someone because of their sexual orientation. only a small number of things are "protected" with regard to hiring and firing in most parts of america, race and religion are the big ones, also gender, in some cases disability.

From the other thread:

The Missouri Human Rights Act does not offer protection based on sexual orientation. However, the cities of St. Louis, Kansas City and Columbia protect against sexual orientation discrimination (this took place in St. Louis).
