Why is that?

For the reputation of the establishment.

Would you put porn star on your resume and how do you think it would influence your chance of getting any job?

I'd credit them for honesty and hire them if they were qualified.

If a few of my customers complained I'd very politely tell them to get bent.

It's one fucking Subway store...and no, I wouldn't put it on my resume. Honestly though, I'd back up an employee before I side with one ignorant customer who has a political/conservative/religious axe to grind...that's the kind of guy I am though. 😉

But if I owned a family frequented restaurant, I don't think I would want an adult film star (former or current) of any orientation working in my establishment.

It's a Subway! There is no way that anyone has thought of them as a "Family restaurant".

Hell, they are anally raping you themselves charging over $6 for a sub that has 4/5 wafer thin slices of meat on it.

Do I get a chance to watch the porn before I decide?

Because the prudes with 'tudes are running our countries, porn stars who retire from the industry don't mention or indicate or mention their porn work. In fact they basically cut off contact with people in the industry.

That said, they go on to have normal, working lives.

I'm gonna tell you anyway. The article linked in the other thread I linked here, specified that he, to use the lingo, was a 'bottom' for extra cash. In fact he has three kids.

ok gay or a pervert or deviant. As long as you aren't discussing your prior job at work, what business is it of everyone elses. Hell, even convicted felons have more rights than that.

That is for the business owner to decide. Obviously he has a problem with it.

Um, not sure what a 'bottom' is...😕

I have heard that some "straight" porn actors do gay porn because it is so much more lucrative.

Honestly, what business is it of the customers what the employee who assembles his/her sandwich did prior to this?

bottom =

before (_o_) after (_O_)

When I was 18 my girlfriend and I worked at a Subway. We'd do it on the food prep table in the back, the walk in fridge, and once the walk in freezer.....but didn't do that again after her ass stuck to a box of frozen bread.

No, it's discrimination, and I hope the store owner gets the crap sued out of him.

Top = pitcher, bottom = catcher. Bottoms make more money.

Gay for pay actors are getting rarer and rarer, as that industry expands and more legitimately gay actors sign up. Peter North started out as gay for pay to get his foot in the industry door; he's since become one of the most famous in the hetero porn industry for about three decades or so.

You obviously know nothing of what you speak. You can fire employees for out of work behavior. Subway will say he didnt get fired because he was gay (which would be descrimination) but because he starred in adult film (Pornstar is not a protected class of citizen). Reading comprehension FTL.

Yep, employers can "discriminate" against porn stars all they want.

yeh, and if it were a female porn star she wouldn't have been fired.

what's really sad is that gay porn pays so little that he has to work at Subway. 🙁
