Oh look, another thread where you complain about incredibly mundane shit.

First world problems man... we really do complain about the stupidest shit. If your biggest complaint of the day is that your footlong sub might not be clean or that facebook changed its layout, your life is comparitively pretty damned awesome.

subway is disgusting and so are their ingredients. that's what happens when you cut costs so low. the worst part is everyone else has to cut costs and use shittier food or smaller portions to compete

I've only been to one bad subway, in downtown Milwaukee, they tried charging me extra when I asked them to put more southwest sauce on. I told them to keep the sub and went to another one like 6 blocks away.

Subway is just a low-quality fast food chain. The ingredients in their sandwiches are worse for you than a sneeze could ever be.

I had one put two slices of ham total on a footlong. I walked out when they asked what kind of veggies I wanted.

Damn my post must have been misunderstood. I'm really not picky, I eat at subway pretty often because it's economical and healthier than other options. The point of my post was that most subways are fine.

In this case though he put one line of sauce on and dammit that shits delicious so I asked him to put more on and he tried charging me $1.50 for it, fuck that.

I don't get all the hate for subway. They are one of the VERY VERY FEW fast food places that has a large variety of nutritional ingredients, and $5 for a footlong is a DAMN good deal if you've ever bought ingredients from a supermarket to make your own sandwich.

Also given that subway, you need to choose your own ingredients, the sub is only as good as one you know how to build. I've had some horrible subs from subway, but when I learned how to build a good one, it's seriously delicious.

For the haters who actually claims that subway is not nutritious and is overpriced, I DARE YOU to name me one place that packs more nutrition for the dollar. I'll fucking love you raw if you do.

And lastly, don't be complaining about calories when you're buying a FOOTLONG sub. Of course a footlong sub is going to pack a lot of calories... you're eating a damn lot of food. But if you consider what those calories are, it's from a healthy balance of nutrients. If you don't want that many calories, that's why they offer a 6inch version. It's not like chipotle where the only option they pretty much have is the huuuge fucking burrito or the bowl with just as much food.

Whiners gonna whine.

I actually ate there the other day and it was pretty good. Had a breakfast flatbread with ham, cheese, and egg, plus all of the veggies. I was in a pinch after finishing a run and it tasted decent and could not have been all that horrible for me.

In short I have no problem with the place and like it more than almost any other fast food place, though admittedly I do not eat much fast food at all.

F$#^ subway. Any private owned deli has a better sub for a dollar more.

I usually agree with this notion for most places... pizza, burgers...
But my personal experience with subs have been the opposite. Most mom and pop shop sandwich shops only carries the plainest of breads and the only veggies they have are lettuce and tomato and pepperocinis - you'd be hard pressed to find a deli that have nearly as many ingredients to choose from as subway. Not to mention all of the sauces subway has.
