yeah subway is really really overrated and their staff continually disappoints. for something that actually takes some communication to order, i am not impressed with the english skills. im all for minorities/immigrants/non-english speakers to earn a living, just not sure taking custom sub orders is the right position.

All you do is complain. You complain about people. You complain about food. You complain about everything. Compounding this is your self-professed LOVE OF JESUS®. You constantly remind us that you are a Christian, yet your posts are anything but. You are intolerant and incredibly judgemental of pretty much everything and everyone around you, and frankly I'm sick of hearing about it.

I'd have put you on ignore a long time ago, but the "ignore" function here is basically useless. I'd still see your daily whining threads and nary a thread where you actually do anything to improve your lot in life. I'm sorry you have health issues, and I'm glad you like bikes, but you can keep the rest of it to yourself.

You used to be ok, but I dont know whats gotten into you. Does atheism make you bitter or something? Because your misguided and pathetic attack is juvenile and pointless I will spare you from the ignore button for now. :colbert:

And furthermore, I, as a citizen of the freest country on Earth have a right to change my line of thinking on occasion if you dont mind.

So there, nyaa.

So because one franchised Subway had an idiot working for them, they must all suck? You're lucky you can see the food prep visible. It's just as bad if not worse at other places.

Do you ever make your own food?

KT

Not for lunch. Im a man on the go. A mover and shaker. I've no time for brown bagging. :|

I usually agree with this notion for most places... pizza, burgers...
But my personal experience with subs have been the opposite. Most mom and pop shop sandwich shops only carries the plainest of breads and the only veggies they have are lettuce and tomato and pepperocinis - you'd be hard pressed to find a deli that have nearly as many ingredients to choose from as subway. Not to mention all of the sauces subway has.

There is a local shop called Great Outdoor that blows Subway out of the water and is fairly priced to boot.

Thats not my first experience with a substandard Subway that caused me to question the establishment's health standards. In all fairness, however, I have also had pleasant experiences at Subway restaurants as well.

Today's failed visit just compelled me to point out the negative experience. In the future I will consider mentioning an exceptional experience if such an event ever does occur at said establishment.

I went to Subway for the first time in awhile the other day. Had their steak sandwich. They forgot to put the bacon on it, which as you know is a cardinal sin. Tasted the same as I remember but it was made pretty sloppily.

As sandwich chains go, I think I prefer Quiznos and Mr. Sub. I lived off Mr. Sub while I was going to school. Can't get enough of the Santa Fe Spicy Chicken on Cheese Bread.

Eat fresh? Fresh what, chemicals and long ass named ingredients you've never heard of that sound like they should be part of some chemistry experiment? No thanks.

I eat Subway maybe once or twice a month. I prefer Togo's by a slim margin and Le Bou by a large margin - but lunch at Le Bou runs about $4-5 more on average.

it's a franchise I think, complain to the independent owner. Subway is different everywhere except for the menu

Personally, I'd avoid the chips if I were you. A bag of chips can have over 100 calories...

Oh my god 100 calories! The horror! I become obese just thinking about it. 100 WHOLE BIG CALORIES! THAT'S 100,000 cALORIES!

Most subs (foot long) on the board had well over 1,000 calories each! Luckily, their Black Forst sub had "only" about 650 calories ... so I ordered that.

Why does my mouth feel so dry after I eat a Subway sub? They must be extremely high in sodium I guess.

I'm going to guess the sub you got was only 650 calories because they put nothing with moisture on it.

Oh, and I have been searching for some energy-dense food so that I can put on some weight. So after reading here that the foot-long has 1k Calories, I had one for lunch. It was little more than a snack. Its just a ton of bread with some turkey, lettuce, and tomatoe.

Yeah, spinach, olives, cucumbers, pepperocinis, avocado, bell peppers, sure sounds like long ass chemicals compared to your average fast food place.

Subway, by far, has better ingredients than most places out there. They have as much variety of veggies as entire menus of many fast food places.

They might have some preservatives in their bread/deli meat that looks like long ass chemical names, but you'd be hard pressed to find bread/deli meat ANYWHERE that doesn't have it.

Uh just went to their site.

It looks just like your average subshop with subpar ingredients. That sub looks plain as hell. I'd get waaay better ingredients at subway.

Seriously, if you can't build a tasty sub with all of the ingredients they have at subway, it's your own god damn fault.

I was excited to find out there were 24-hour subways near me... then I realized I don't ever go to subway at any time, so I'm not sure why I was. I did like the tuna sandwhich, though last time I had it was just mayo. Dont' know if my tastes have changed or their recipe.
