Last time I went to subway, ended up with a sloppy sandwich on stale, over fired bread. Their quality has dropped drastically in recent years but they're not cheap. So many better sub shops, both chain and independent.

I've received burned bread a few times. They try to sneak and give it to you. If you can hear the bread when they cut it opened...its burned and I always ask for a different loaf. If they have a problem with it, I just ask them if it would be better if I didn't spend money there today.

I only eat the Honey Oat bread because I love it so much. But it seems like they overcook this one the most.
