<< I agree with vi-edit. I wouldn't give up my Outback Sport for a WRX. Wagons are great for hauling things.

Turbos are nice but I'd rather have the bigger engine.

That's why you go with the WRX wagon :) More functional, and about $500 cheaper than the 4 door sedan version of the same car.

<< I have a friend who has a 1998 2.5rs 5 speed. It's black with those ugly gold rims lol. Anyway, he claims it's pretty fast, and says he ran a 14.7 1/4 mile at the track (don't know the MPH) with some minor mods. K&N cone, not the drop in kind, I forget the rest. Does this sound believable? He's a little fishy since he claims he "roasted" a late model Z28. I'd say it was probably a 6cylinder Fbody if he really won. >>

Hahahha Scoobys are dead slow in the top end. As anyone with a stock WRX or 2.5 RS to race from a 40 punch and they will turn you down. The clutch on the 2.5 is fairly tough, but if you do kill it, it will be the labor that kills you, not the price of the part.

Have you looked at a new Sentra SE-R Spec V?
