There's a company called Hitler Enterprises that makes capacitors, apparently.

I don't imagine they are very popular given the name and logo lol. Can't find them on Digikey or Mouser, and I'm probably on a list now.

Manhattan generally is sinking 1-2mm per year from the incredible mass of all of the buildings. And some places, the rate is twice that.

seems like childs play compared to Jakarta's almost 2-5 cm a year

I drove someone's car that had one of those installed, it was really touchy about what it considered sudden acceleration/sudden stops.

I like overhead wings; no wing to obstruct the view and even shades some of the windows. The AWAC is my favorite plane to ride in.

Vladimir Komarov a Cosmonaut who knew the Soyuz 1 capsule was unsafe flew on it anyway because if he refused, they would just send another colleague and he did not want to essentially be the cause of his death, so he went on it anyway, knowing he would probably die.

Some of his last communication can be heard in this footage:

You engineers are gonna luv luv luv this.

Integral control in evolution. Really fascinating.

Iron fuel! Interesting concept with some interesting problems.....

It has an energy density of about 11.3 kilowatt-hours per liter—better than gasoline.
Burning iron powder produces heat that can be used directly or converted into electricity by a steam turbine, leaving behind iron oxide, or rust. This can later be reduced—that is, the oxygen can be stripped away—back into iron powder. “You can think of iron fuel as a clean, recyclable coal,” says Bergthorson.

Iron oxide can also be reduced to iron using hydrogen. Hydrogen is already a carbon-free green fuel if produced by splitting water using renewable electricity. But it is also an ultralight, voluminous gas, so it must be converted using high pressures and extreme cold into liquid, which then has to be stored and transported in special containers. Iron, by contrast, is already moved in dry containers for a lower cost.

BC has food trucks... for drugs.

Now crackheads can relive the childhood memories of running after the ice cream truck!

Prices look a smidge high to me lol! 😛 (pun intended!)

Seriously if I WANTED an 8th of decent blow RIGHT NOW I could (allegedly!) get it within the hour for around $100 right down the street ... less $ with a little planning ahead. (delivered too if I wanted lol) "Crack/smokeable" cocaine I could get even faster and cheaper.
