That might make it "newsworthy". It would be fun... see the guy on the cover of the NY Post. :D

When leaving negative feedback for the idiot.....just say:

"I paid for the auction and recieved absolutely nothing!!!"

So what? Buyer beware.

It's not like you can't be ripped off in the real world.

Just don't buy from him, problem solved.

Bunch of bandwagon freaks, the lot of you. "eBay sucks!!!!!!!!!!111oneone"

Once again, why I say positive feedback is worthless... I only care that there's links to the items the person has sold in the past. I don't need someone to say A+ seller, and someone else to say A+++++++++++ seller... (or buyer)

All that's necessary is the negative feedback.

What's he doing wrong? Someone tell me specifically. Don't say "He's bad" or "Abusing the system". I don't see...

Edit: Ok I looked at what he's selling. Nothing...

Is this sort of thing like a big conspiracy between everyone looking to raise their feedback praise ratios ?

feedback auctions are against the ebay rule but the ads don't specifically state that the auciton is for feedback so I dunno what ebay will do. Also note that he put this auctions up on the free listing day so it costs him absolutely nothing if the auction does not sell. smart ? guy. *shrugs*

Guess you didn't bother looking at any of the auctions themselves: Bid On Nothing & Paying For It Will Earn You Positive Feedback!!!. Sounds like he's auctioning for feedback to me.

I stand corrected. report him and see what ebay does.

Eli - Free listing day is usually Dec 26. Ebay use to have more free days but then they cleared the field and really don't need to be nice.

From his domain, registration, he's from Great Neck, NY. One of the wealthiest towns in Long Island - guaranteed that this kids house is 1 million+.

Its the fcking rich that steal. No doubt he learns this from his parents who probably do the same thing on a grander scale.

Unless I'm mistaken, free listing day is just that....free LISTING fees. Final auction fees still stand

damn....just realized eBay took down all of his 'nothing' auctions. Does anybody know if they bidding for the above auction reached the 15,000 level?

haha

" I have tried, for many months, to make arrangements with the Ubi Soft corporation, for them to own this domain, but they have stopped responding to my e-mails, as of July 2003."

So wait, he buys the domain to try and get ubi to pay for it, ubi refuses to because thats stuipid, now he expects you to buy it in the hopes ubi will pay you?

Moron.

not to mention that obvious attempts to domain squat get domains pulled out from under you.

He'd have been better off waiting for ubi to contact him (if they did) and state he researches splinters or something.
