stuff like this makes me hate ebay

eBay sucks now... that's just the way it is.

Edit: Someone needs to create a new eBay username, "buy" a bunch of his items, and leave him negatives.

Edit2: I think I'll do just that.

WOW that is so annoying, there has to be something we can do- complain to someone or something!!
i hate people like that. and how does he get away with it. and WHO THE HELL PAYS THE ONE BUCK?!

Looks like I'm not the only one who reported him. The page that came up said those auctions had already been reported.

didn't that guy post a link to one of his auctions in the FS/FT forum?

I'm sure it was him...he was selling a domain name.

Yep, he has the domain name. He's going to get rich collecting all those dollars.

My bet is on boosting his feedback (possibly heatware too) and then doing a heist.

People do the same with 10 cents trinkets on ebay and then do a 'big' item like a laptop or piece of jewelry.

OT- here is a Bash quote about EGay that is funny:

<Meph|st0> Complaint : BOUGTH IT FOR MY COUSIN WHO HAD CANCER, ITEM NEVER ARRIVED AND MY COUSIN DIED
<Meph|st0> thats the greatest ebay feedback i have ever seen

Maybe I'm slow, but what's the guy doing wrong?

Buying and selling positive comments on eBay to increase his user rating- effectively what everyone here does, it's neffing, eBay style.

Although there he'll probably rip someone off after he does it.

Just suppose there were two AT'ers who had 'extra' accounts with eBay and decided to try and outbid each other (say to the tune of about $1,000,000) for his 'nothing' auction. He would have to pay the charges to eBay. If he is as stupid as I think he is....he will try to report those two AT'ers to ebay. Once ebay trys to contact the AT'ers....they report the idiot for abusing the system. I'm not saying that this would be ETHICAL but it sure would be entertaining!
