Studying Abroad

Anyone have any experiences or good stories? Going to try to study abroad in the EU for Fall 2011/Spring 2012. Potentially going to class and work in Norway, Germany, or Austria. Going as an MIS graduate student...

Thoughts, opinions?

I knew some peeps who went to Germany and Spain. Overall they had a very fun time...don't learn a lot but instead you drink a lot.

Yeah, thats what I've heard, too.

A friend of mine studied at Oxford summer of 2007 and I was super jealous. He told me all these whack stories about going to class and goofing off with everyone.

At one point, he danced with Emma Watson and a stuffed alligator in the VIP of a Euro club.

Sounds like fun to me...

Studied at Uppsala University in Sweden from *wait for it* 1994 to 1996.
Had a good time. Learned more in the 2 years there than I did at any other point in my academic career. Met a lot of great people too.

Studied aboard for one year and one summer in two different countries

Probably the best thing you can do as a student.

Definitely one of the best times of my life. I still keep in touch with some of the people I studied abroad with.

Cool...do you guys have any stories from over seas? Uppsala, you must have enjoyed it so much to put it in your username Surely you have to have some story worth telling

I wish I had.

Me too, would have been nice to spend a semester in Seoul, becoming elite at Starcraft and returning to America to crush everyone else.

Maybe take a lil Advanced Calculus there to "condition" me for future math classes.

I enjoyed my time learning english at abroad. As I love learning about new cultures , I enjoyed that too
