I think tokyo woudl be awesome. I dont really speak any japanease but what better way to learn. The classes ARE teached in english tho so that part i will be ok on. I think i would get the best education there too.
I am not sure where in italy i would go but i know for london and tokyo for the other two.
The only real reason i would pick italy is the culture, food, and the fact that out of the other three its the only one i havent visited. I have been to greece which isd kinda close but not the same thing.
Australia is a very cool place, the barier reef was awesome..i just dont know if there would be as much to do there as there would be in tokyo or london.
London has the plus of the language..and really good music/concerts/pubs/soccer.
Tokyo has the plus becuase...its...tokyo..Anime,Jpop,omg the food, the people, the sights
there is more to our CONTINENT than just the barrier reefYou couldn't see all the big tourist attractions in Australia in a year even if you wanted to. The way i see it, come to Perth/Melbourne/Sydney/Adelaide and you'll meet awesome people, they all have a great nightlife/clubs/pubs, get a very reputable semester's marks, and as a bonus have an amazing, unpolluted environment to enjoy, and don't forget our awesome beaches (surfing/diving/fishing)...+ as i said we all speak a form of english

I spent a college semester in Japan many moons ago. It does not matter where you go but just do it! International travel should be mandatory for most students and it will really broaden your horizons...

you can broaden your horizons at home, unfortunately many wait for an excuse to do so.

not really. Traveling abroad is an exposure to a new culture. Americans are virtually the same anywhere you go. Someplaces are generally more uptight some places are generally more stupid but all virtually the same none the less.
And calling it american culture is laughable. I'd argue our country is too younge to have developed any real cutlure in teh same sense that europe or other places have.
